Bedrock is a protocol that has gained considerable traction during 2024 (as well as the liquid restaking narrative in general), we have also seen that these types of protocols enjoy a lot of composability within the ecosystem they are part of, so we believe they have the potential to continue to grow and are a gamble worth taking.
On the other hand, the Council’s concerns have been correctly addressed. They have decreased their request by 50%, incorporated several additional details on using the grant and its milestones, and finally provided us with a clearer picture of how they plan to retain the capital within the Arbitrum ecosystem.
Considering that they had initially received the support of 2 Council members, we decided to support this initiative.
