Arbitrum Builder Pods is a university-focused builder activation program designed to create a long-term builder base for Arbitrum across engineering colleges in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan in India.

The program began with on-campus **Builder Labs** , where students received a hands-on introduction to Ethereum, Arbitrum, Stylus, and Orbit.

From each Lab, interested and shortlisted students formed Builder Pods for their respective universities. These Pods were then supported through continued mentorship, project ideation, technical guidance, and showcase opportunities.

Xcan was used as a verification and learning medium to track student progress, project completion, and participation transparently. The primary focus of the program remained the creation of active Arbitrum builder communities rather than the platform itself.

## Performance Against KPIs

## Verification

Program participation, project creation, Builder Pod activity, and showcase information can be publicly verified through the Xcan Builder Pods ecosystem:

> **[Xcan](https://www.xcan.dev/builder-pods)**
>
> Learn. Experience. Build.

Showcase-specific project information can be verified through:

> **[Xcan](https://www.xcan.dev/builder-pods/showcase)**
>
> Learn. Experience. Build.

The Builder Pods program therefore combines university-level developer activation with publicly verifiable project outcomes, allowing the results of the initiative to be independently reviewed.

## Conclusion

Arbitrum Builder Pods successfully established a broader university-level builder network through hands-on Builder Labs, continued Pod-based engagement, project development, mentorship, and regional showcases.

The program ultimately expanded to **21 colleges and 21 sessions** , reaching **730 students** , resulting in **24 projects** , with **20 projects participating in three showcase events**.

Nice to see students getting their projects in front of the community. Are any of the showcased apps ready for everyday users to try, or are they still early demos?
