gm all. Here’s an explanation of my voting decisions.
As others pointed out, all candidates were of great quality so some decisions were hard to make.
Bullish on the ARDC.
Risk Member
Chaos Labs - Only option, great option.
Chaoslabs have worked with prominent Web3 brands like AAVE and GMX. They have the experience and capability to deliver the responsibility from the DAO. Their CEO, Omer Goldberg is an active participant in the Arbitrum Security Council.
Security Member
OpenZeppelin - OG Ethereum project with a great track record for their security arm. Fantastic team.
DAO Advocate
L2Beat: they are omnipresent and always deliver with the best quality. Full trust into this team.
Research Member
We support Blockworks and Delphi Digital’s joint application for the ARDC Research member role. Their partnership combines extensive expertise and networks. Both have excelled in analyzing complex blockchain ecosystems with in-depth reports and evaluations. Blockworks Research’s strong contribution to the Arbitrum ecosystem complements Delphi’s insights into Ethereum and its scaling solutions.
Yes I wish their proposal was aligned in terms of cost with the one from the Block, but it’s within the approved budget and we get 2 teams.
Hey gm guys!
Glad to see how the elections turned out. DAOplomats (previous DAOStewards) voted in this order:
Research Member 100% Blockworks and Delphi Digital - DAOplomats is very confident in the work Blockwork does. We see their engagement within the DAO and believe they are value and mission-aligned. The collaboration with Delphi Digital also looks promising so we decided to go with them.
DAO Advocate 100% L2BEAT & Ant - This was our easiest vote. L2BEAT has proved time and again how valuable they are to the community. This election was just to formalize them occupying the role and we are happy to see the collaboration with Ant.
Security Member 50% Trail of Bits, 50% OpenZeppelin - In this election, we split our votes equally between Trail of Bits and OpenZeppelin. We believe in the works they both do and any of them would make a valuable addition. Glad OpenZeppelin made it.
Risk Member 100% Chaos Labs - No competition here but asides that, Chaos Labs is super great and we gave them our full support.
Out team cp0x voted for candidates in the following ratio:
10% - Blockworks / Delphi Digital 90% - The Block
Although both teams are very professional, The Block has, in our opinion, more thorough researches.
And The Block team has more experience since 2018 unlike Blockworks.
Out team cp0x voted for candidates in the following ratio:
100% - L2BEAT / Ant Federation 0% - Pavel Fedotov
Our team has analyzed the applications and notes L2BEAT’s more significant experience in DAO.
We also believe that a team can perform this function better than one person.
There are decent companies for this job, so the distributions are approximately equal.
But our team has slight preferences for companies that have proven themselves in the crypto space.
So, the distribution of our votes is as follows:
OpenZeppelin - 40%
Trail of Bits - 15%.
Zellic/Dedaub - 5%.
Nethermind - 25%.
Halborn - 10%.
DoDAO - 0%.
Spearbit - 5%
[ARDC Risk Member Election]
Our team voted FOR Elections of Chaos Labs.
Although only one company is represented, it is more than qualified and experienced for risk management.
Our team is glad that, in the absence of competition, truly good professionals were presented for this position
