The dynamic pricing model builds on the resource tracking introduced in ArbOS 51 and should help price different types of usage more accurately. The Stylus code size increase is also a nice improvement that makes building easier without obvious downsides. The base fee delegation is limited in scope and seems reasonable, although we would still like to see the initial gas target values and adjustment windows before the final vote to better understand how the system will behave.
One thing that deserves attention to is the inclusion of compliance-based transaction filtering in Nitro. Even if it is not meant to be enabled on Arbitrum One or Nova, making it part of the core stack could create challenges for chains trying to meet certain decentralization standards (like the L2BEAT’s stages framework). We understand why this feature exists, and as long as it stays disabled on Arbitrum One and Nova, we do not see it as a blocker.
