[Curve] [FINAL] [STIP - Round 1]

I love Curve… cornerstone defi project for sure.

However, they have not used the 3,476,795 ARB they got in the airdrop for anything yet, and on top of this, in Optimism, they haven’t been able to pass KYC for about a year to use their 504,828 OP grant… Voting yes on this would amount to voting no on other projects that are more likely to use the funds for the purpose of the grant.

I’m sorry, I would vote yes to support Curve if it didn’t prevent others from using these funds as they were intended.

Thank you for the feedback, but I assure you that Curve will soon be using the ARB it received from the airdrop as well as the ARB it receives from the STIP grant. As I’ve mentioned in a previous post, our blocker currently is the need to deploy Curve’s new stableswap-ng implementation to be suitable for crvUSD pools. This has been in audit and the dev working on it has told me today that it will be deployed this week. While there have been blockers to introduce the next wave of Curve pools, the finish line is imminent and our incentive program is beginning shortly.

Michigan Blockchain supports this proposal with the requested amount being justified given the sustainable benefits to the Arbitrum ecosystem and having conducted an in-depth reviewal process of all submitted STIP proposals. We appreciate Curve’s effort in delivering a promising proposal and working with the community throughout the process.

First and foremost, we would like to express our gratitude for the well-prepared application.
Additionally, we are excited about the prospect of offering tricrypto pools for Arbitrum with crvUSD, as this has the potential to be a game-changer. Also, we believe that Curve’s liquidity hub’s role will greatly benefit the growth of Arbitrum. As demonstrated by the test data on Curve’s Arbitrum platform, it operates efficiently with low gas fees.

As the ITU Blockchain delegation team, we are in favor of this proposal.

I almost was convinced by your point, but it broke for me when I thought, “Do we want protocols to use the original amount dropped as incentives or to participate in governance.”

If i didn’t have 30 left to vote on in an hour, I’d go check if they are delegating…
