[Gains Network][FINAL][STIP - Round 1]

Hi everyone, we have listened to the feedback we received from many delegators and have decided to make an update to our proposal (7m $ARB → 4.5m $ARB).

We would have done this before making our proposal final on the forum but unfortunately the feedback from Blockworks was posted < 24hrs before the deadline and it was already too late at this point, and we did not have any indication the amount was potentially too high before then.

It is true we could have started getting feedback from the major delegates before the vote but it is our first experience with this kind of proposal and we did not think we would have to discuss with each delegator as we recently did, we were really focused on improving gTrade, bringing new traders, and listing new pairs to be honest!

Please re-consider your vote given this new information and help us spread the word if you can :blue_heart:

Thank you for your understanding

Hello @Lunaman,

As a reminder proposals may not be edited after the review period has ended as per the following stipulation:

Given this, Gains Network’s proposal will continue to be counted with a 7M funding request.

Gains may return any unused funds to the multisig and then it would be at the discretion of the multisig to redistribute or send back to the treasury.

I was hearth broken today to find out gains STIP application was refused, despite the fact that they humbly lowered their demand for ARB last minute. It seems that some ARB voters may not have a foundational understanding of finance 101. Gains is supported by one of the most benevolent and non-toxic communities I’ve encountered, and they truly deserved a fair shot. It’s disheartening to know that despite their earnest efforts, even personally reaching out to significant ARB voters on twitter, their voices were not heeded. It’s truly a loss for the broader community.

What is your objective Boris, acting this way ?

Humble this community that can’t accept a constructive critique and degrades anyone who offers and honest and candid feedback that goes against the protocol

calls us toxic
posts 17th message shitting all over this project just because he holds a Vertex bag.
never leaves

Don’t be like Boris.

Please my friends, we can try to grow a bit. For Arbitrum’s interest

how ridiculous your comment is

  1. vertex doesn’t have a token yet and I don’t “hold a bag”
  2. using that logic I should of went and shit on ALL other protocols

We are updating the multisig to meet the KYC requirement. The new one will be 0xc5fCA2c19c5Ca269a10e15ee4A800ed82F53787D and it is a 3/5 multisig.
