2026 AGV Council Elections: Application Thread

Our focus on financial hygiene and structure is why, if elected, GFX Labs will present a report to Arbitrum governance on the financial state of the AGV, and (to the extent it exists) the AGV’s business plan to return principal and ultimately profits to governance. To the extent that any NDAs prohibit disclosure to governance, we will outline what subjects have been omitted. We will publish this report within 60 days of beginning our term.

After getting a firm understanding of the current state of AGV’s finances and planning, we will work with other AGV council members and wider Arbitrum governance to explore ways to update the AGV mandate to create a to-be-established target schedule for remittance of principal and investment returns back to governance.

Additionally, we believe there is room to explore ways to expand the mandate beyond the narrow focus on gaming and towards a broader consumer-facing ecosystem. Whether that makes sense will depend upon the existing status of AGV’s finances and structure, as well as whether other consumer-facing verticals appear in need of investment and use on Arbitrum.

Disclosures

Please disclose all of the applicant’s actual and potential conflicts of interest, including but not limited to financial, personal, DAO governance, and professional.

Additionally, please disclose all active contributor roles and payment streams related to the Arbitrum DAO that the applicant and entities with which they have a professional or financial relationship have and are receiving.

I have no material holdings (as defined as $1000 or more) of any crypto asset other than various stablecoins and network gas tokens.

GFX Labs has, to the best of my knowledge, no exposure or existing relationships with any game creator, publisher, or gaming-sector financial company. Tokens held by GFX Labs are the product of in-kind payment (e.g. ARB) or for work-related purposes (e.g. gas tokens and stablecoins).

GFX Labs, like many delegates, provides services to a variety of DAOs, including grants review, financial diligence and risk assessment, procurement RFP evaluation, smart contract development, and user interface support. We will maintain an updated disclosure list on this forum (either on our delegate communications thread or some other permanent location for all AGV councilors) for 2026 once the term begins.

GFX Labs is a delegate eligible under the current and all proposed Arbitrum delegate incentive plans.
