Update on Future of ADPC
Phase II of the ADPC ends on April 14, 2025. As we had mentioned on the Phase II proposal thread, any new phase of the ADPC would involve re-elections. We therefore reached out to Entropy to discuss the future of the ADPC.
Given that the OpCo is being stood up currently and there is a lack of clarity about the roles that will be assumed by the OpCo, it does not make sense to extend the ADPC at the current moment for a Phase III. The DAO is currently in a “transitionary” phase with the SOS, OpCo, and other such initiatives. We think it would be premature to hold elections and identify a scope and budget for Phase III before there is further clarity on roles, responsibility, and future direction for the DAO, which should be determined over the next few months.
As such, we will now be placing the ADPC on hold for the time being. However, if any DAO members have a clear scope, strategy, and budget for a Phase III that fit into the DAO’s current landscape and context, there is no blocker to going ahead and directly proposing it to the DAO.
RPC Marketplace for Arbitrum DAO: Provisionally Whitelisted Providers
The ADPC is excited to announce that following a rigorous review process, the following eight (8) RPC providers have been provisionally selected as whitelisted RPC Providers for Arbitrum DAO:
Under this framework, whitelisted providers will be able to offer RPC services to Arbitrum projects under pre-agreed terms and conditions. This is designed to streamline engagement between RPC providers and projects as a means of accelerating development and innovation across Arbitrum.
In the coming days, more details will be shared regarding the matchmaking process between projects and RPC providers, including how projects can request services from whitelisted providers.
Note: The RPC providers are provisionally whitelisted pending finalization of the Head Agreement and T&Cs. There is one more provider who was provisionally whitelisted but has not responded to us yet, and has therefore not been included in this whitelist as of now.
RPC Marketplace for Arbitrum DAO: Addition of Ankr as Provisionally Whitelisted Provider
The ADPC is pleased to announce that Ankr has been provisionally selected as a whitelisted RPC Provider for Arbitrum DAO.
In our previous announcement regarding the eight (8) provisionally whitelisted RPC providers, we noted that one provider had not yet responded and was therefore omitted at the time.
Ankr will now join the eight previously whitelisted RPC Providers in offering services to Arbitrum projects under streamlined engagement terms, and in accordance with the Matchmaking Process for RPC services.

Hi Arbitrum DAO,
As ADPC Phase II comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the work accomplished and milestones achieved throughout this journey.
The ADPC was initially proposed to the Arbitrum DAO by @ImmutableLawyer from Axis Advisory in December 2023, with a vision to establish essential procurement frameworks and onboard high-quality service providers. Following the Snapshot election, Areta, Axis Advisory, and Daimon Legal were selected as the three ADPC members, and the proposal was officially approved via Tally on February 5, 2024.
During the initial six-month period, ADPC delivered on its mandate by creating a comprehensive procurement framework and RFPs focused on security service providers. This phase also saw the successful proposal of the Security Subsidy Fund. Throughout, ADPC members remained actively engaged with community stakeholders to gather insights and feedback. More details on this can be found in the ADPC Phase I Outcome Report.
Building on the success of Phase I, the team proposed Phase II in August 2024. The goals for this phase included managing the Security Subsidy Fund, developing procurement frameworks for additional services like RPC providers, supporting initiatives outlined in the 2025 DAO Events Budget, and drafting the DAO’s Operational Expenses Budget. More details on Security Subsidy fund can be found in this report.
Over the past 12 months, ADPC has:
- Created procurement frameworks for security related service providers & RPC service providers;
- Researched, created & proposed the Security Subsidy Fund;
- Whitelisted 9 high-quality security service providers;
- Selected 22 grantee projects for the Security Subsidy Fund;
- Whitelisted 9 RPC providers;
- Created and published the DAO’s Service Provider Utilisation Framework.
- Continuously engaged with various community stakeholders for feedback & learnings
More details about the ADPC’s work in Phase II can be found in this Outcome Report here.
Through these efforts, ADPC has laid a strong foundation for future procurement and service provider onboarding within the Arbitrum DAO.
Since the OpCo is still being established and its future role remains unclear, we believe it’s premature to extend the ADPC into Phase III. With the DAO in a transitional period - alongside the SOS, OpCo, and other initiatives - it’s not the right time to define a scope, budget, or hold elections. We’re placing the ADPC on hold until there’s more clarity in the coming months.
We’re proud of the work done and deeply grateful for the support from the community throughout this process.
Thank you!
