Xross Road Raises $1.5M Pre-Seed, Launches Closed Beta for AI Manga Engine ‘Hanasee’
We are excited to welcome Xross Road to the AGV portfolio! Our press announcement was picked up by outlets including Games Beat, Animation Magazine, and Anime News, among others.

“Xross Road aims to address the challenges for a fragmented intellectual property industry — spanning novels, manga, production committees and distribution — through Hanasee. Giant Raises $8M to Build Interactive Storytelling for Kids
Earlier this week, we announced the successful $8M seed round for Giant; this news was picked up by Games Beat, TechStartups.com, Y, and Z.
The Lost Glitches Sees Results from Twitch Partnership
While The Lost Glitches’ creator campaigns will roll out over the coming weeks, they’ve seen early results from their partnership with Twitch. During their recent Twitch feature window (February 10-21), Steam store traffic increased significantly:
- 247,530 impressions
- 23,594 store visits
- 9.6% click-through rate
The Lost Glitches team also reported the following metrics for the Twitch feature window:
- 5,300+ new installs
- 19,000+ PvP matches
- 9,000+ training matches
- +55% increase in average DAU (Currently 1,400)
- Peak DAU: 2,400 (during live draft events)
- 366k Views on the Featured Stream on the Twitch.tv index page.

- Ethan Sy, our Venture Associate, appeared on the Blockchain Gaming World alongside Forkast CEO Chris Gonsalves to discuss the rise of prediction markets and the launch of esports-focused Forkast on the Arbitrum blockchain.
AGV Heading to GDC
Members of the AGV team are attending this year’s Game Developer Conference in San Francisco from March 9-13. We have lots of meetings with builders and investors lined up, and we look forward to seeing Arbitrum folks at the conference as well.
