Arbitrum Token Flow Report - May 2025

Hey everyone, please see Regen Financial’s May 2025 Token Flow Report for the Arbitrum DAO below:

Token Flow Report - May 2025

The key highlights we would like to bring to the DAO’s attention are:

  • net transaction fees collected (386 ETH) amounted to 95% of total fees collected vs. 92% in March
  • AIP’s deployed 400k ARB to The Watchdog: Arbitrum DAO’s Grant Misuse Bounty Program
  • a constitutional AIP (ArbOS Version 40 Callisto) was also passed during the month

Converting all income and spend into ARB, the DAO generated a profit of 13M ARB. May included the first material inflow of funds into the ETH treasury wallet from Arbitrum Nova - 1.9k ETH was received during the month.

Actual spend for the month totaled 1.3M ARB (converted), driven largely by:
→ 0.5M ARB spent across grant programs
→ 0.3M ARB spent on delegate incentives
→ 0.2M ARB spent on the Stylus Sprint

It is worth noting that 1M ARB was returned to the STIP Multisig - these were unclaimed funds that were previously within the Hedgey contract for distribution to protocols, as had been outlined in previous months’ reports.

As ever, feel free to reach out to the Regen team with any queries or comments (TG @Jono_Gibbs).

This sounds promising. Curious if any milestone based funding has been considered to ensure accountability?

Hey @Lhifthed2016 - a lot of the AIP’s incorporate a degree of milestone-based funding, and will often impose a reporting requirement on the parties involved!

Thanks for the insight @r3gen_Finance. That makes sense milestone based funding does keep teams accountable.
I’m curious, are there templates or reporting formats that funded teams typically use? Would love to understand how to contribute on the reporting or tracking side of things.
