I’m happy to expand on this! While this particular vote doesn’t simplify anything for bridging other Super Tokens to Arbitrum unfortunately, Superfluid and Super Tokens are already alive and kicking on Arbitrum.
- Nerite, the Arbitrum native Liquity v2 fork, is a native Super Token (e.g. no wrapping/unwrapping required)
- SuperBoring is doing 6-7 fig monthly volume in using Super Tokens to power onchain DCA already
- Several other teams have experimented with onchain payroll, recurring payments and streaming public goods funding on Arbitrum
Fundamentally, Superfluid and by extension Super Tokens unlock fully onchain recurring payments and cashflows for a variety of use cases from Payroll, grants, vesting and funding through to consumer use cases in DeFi, SocialFi and subscriptions. My own team is building several new DeFi propositions on top of Superfluid that aren’t possible using any other tech stack (recurring buys, sells and withdrawals, settlement every second of DCA, yield and incentives)
