June 3, 2025 - Open Discussion of Proposals Governance Call

Logistics

The link to join tomorrow’s governance call to discuss the proposal pipeline and notable discussions is on the governance calendar.

Date: June 3, 2025

Time: 16:00 - 17:00 UTC

Video call link: Huddle01 Meet

Approach:

The agenda below will be fluid.

For authors and/or key contributors of these proposals, it would be helpful if you could include a tl;dr / update of your proposal / discussion in the comments so delegates can review them and prepare their questions for the call.

Agenda

1. On-Chain AIPs (Tally)

  • None at the moment

2. Successful Off-Chain AIPS

3. Off-Chain AIPs (Snapshot)

4. Notable Proposal Discussions (Or upcoming snapshots)

5. Quick updates

Please comment below to add an update

Additional Notes

  • We prioritize all proposals and notable discussions that have more engagement.
  • The logic of the two weeks is that given the proposal lifecycle (one week on the forum, one week on Snapshot and then two weeks on Tally). This means that even if a proposal goes through that shortest possible route, it will be covered at least at the proposal and the Tally stage or the Snapshot and the Tally stage.
  • For anything that needs a recap, they could be parked after these discussions

TL;DR: Proposal for Optional Integration of Quack AI into Arbitrum Governance

We propose an optional integration of Quack AI, an AI-powered governance platform designed to support the Arbitrum DAO by improving proposal comprehension, delegate selection, and voter participation.

This integration operates entirely at the application layer and is fully opt-in. It does not require any changes to smart contracts or existing governance processes (Snapshot or on-chain voting).

Key Features

  • AI-generated proposal summaries, risk/benefit analysis, and sentiment scoring
  • Context-aware voting suggestions and optional AI delegate agents
  • Full transparency: users can audit AI decisions, configure preferences, and revoke delegation at any time
  • Dual compatibility with Snapshot and on-chain voting mechanisms
  • Cross-platform UI enhancements linking the Arbitrum Forum and Quack AI for deeper engagement

Current Status and Roadmap

  • Phase 1 (May–June): MVP deployment on Arbitrum, enabling proposal reading, summary generation, delegate suggestions, and live voting UI
  • Phase 2 (June–July): Community proposal creation, configurable proposal rules, and extended forum integration

Benefits to Arbitrum DAO

  • Increases voter participation and reduces quorum failure risk
  • Enhances governance quality through clearer insights and structured context
  • Strengthens forum engagement through bi-directional linking and AI-assisted discussion analysis
  • Fully aligned with Arbitrum’s principles of transparency, neutrality, and decentralization

We welcome feedback from the community and are seeking DAO support for a staged pilot deployment.

Thank you so much for posting this quickly after the meeting today. I’m not sure if it’s my internet connection, but I can’t play the Huddle01 recording. Do you know if there is an issue with the recording, or if the file is corrupt? Here’s the error message that I’m seeing - cc: @paulofonseca

@Juanrah shared the private link of the recording. The public link of the recording is this one: https://files.huddle01.media/rec/zqt-insy-uiw/RM_cIBxOzl4Ytop.mp4
