Firstly, thank you for your proposal and keen interest in the Arbitrum ecosystem.
This proposal seeks to allocate funding for the security reviews of smart contracts within the Arbitrum ecosystem, to bolster overall security and aid in the secure deployment of new protocols.
We are inclined to support initiatives that enhance the security posture of the Arbitrum ecosystem, provided they are executed with transparency and a broad-reaching impact. However, as accepted by @Cyfrin, the best way forward is to unify all security SPs into a single RFP process with a concrete framework.
We would like to, however, applaud Cyfrin (and other SPs) for highlighting some of the blindspots we currently have in the DAO concerning onboarding service providers.
We are very much looking forward to assessing the wider RFP process and subsequent framework.
We hope that our feedback is received as a constructive contribution, aiding the further enhancement and success of the Arbitrum ecosystem.
