TMC Proposed Allocations V2 -- Stablecoin Strategy

I appreciate the integration of community feedback that led to splitting this vote. As I stated in the previous Snapshot vote, I am voting “YES, Deploy Stablecoin Strategy”. My rationale remains consistent with my earlier position, which you can find here:

The following reflects the views of GMX’s Governance Committee, and is based on the combined research, evaluation, consensus, and ideation of various committee members.

As discussed earlier, we are in favor of supporting the Stablecoin Strategy. It is a great way to put the DAO’s funds to work and generate additional revenue for the treasury. Diversification through a 33/33/33 allocation ensures a balanced approach to risk management while maximizing returns across different protocols. All three service providers—Karpatkey, Avantgarde and Gauntlet—are highly capable and have demonstrated strong track records based on their past work.

We strongly support the Stablecoin Strategy and will vote yes in favor of the proposal.

After consideration, the @SEEDgov delegation has decided to vote “YES, Deploy Stablecoin Strategy” on this proposal at the Snapshot Vote.

Rationale

In this case, we agree with the general idea and appreciate that more protocols have been incorporated into the strategies by Karpatkey and Avantgarde. We recognize that there is now a considerable difference between what Gauntlet is offering for free and what the other providers are proposing.

For this reason, we are reiterating our previous vote from the last Snapshot, supporting the deployment of this strategy.

I’m glad these votes were split into distinct proposals. I’m voting in favor of the Stablecoin Strategy with the same reasoning.

I’m voting in favor for DEPLOY STABLECOIN STRATEGY even though it is not a good time to sell arbs, there is a lot going on on the market, and the vulnerability of this could affect us all a lot so having a stable value could help us while we keep developing more strategies to grow…

voting YES, Deploy Stablecoin Strategy on the current offchain vote because despite not being a good time to sell even more ARB, we should have, as a DAO, a stablecoin strategy that generates yield. Also, the selected partners are competent and experienced.

As in @web3citizenxyz representation. Voting FOR. Below the rationale:

We vote for YES, Deploy Stablecoin Strategy on the proposal on Snapshot.

Our stance hasn’t changed since our original post; we believe the DAO’s priority is to maximize the yields with the reasonable strategies.

We will vote to deploy capital. We feel that Gauntlet and Karpatkey in particular are excellent partners, and the projected returns for the used Stablecoin protocols give confidence that outweighs the concerns of depegging that could occur.

In this vote, I proceed in the same way as in the previous proposal:

DAOplomats maintained our vote with the same rationale here.

We voted Yes, Deploy Stablecoin Strategy. We think it makes sense for the DAO to deploy and obtain yield to generate an added revenue stream.

It’s been nearly four weeks since the Snapshot passed:

Here’s where things stand from the Foundation’s side:

  • Zero ARB tokens have been sold. Whether allocated to this initiative or not, the Foundation’s treasury policy is against selling tokens during current market conditions.
  • Once the market finds stable ground, the Foundation will move forward with conversions and issue an update as soon as that process kicks off.

More updates soon.
