Arbitrum DAO Procurement Committee: Phase II Proposal
I will be voted for because this proposal is ideal to simplify communication about the ADPC through clear summaries and promote it on social media. This would increase community understanding and participation. Additionally, greater flexibility in budgeting would allow adaptation to new opportunities, enhancing efficiency in the long term.
Enhancing Multichain Governance: Upgrading RARI Governance Token on Arbitrum
I believe this is a strong move for both ecosystems, as it not only reduces governance costs but also fosters collaboration between two innovative networks but, @ Janabe could you clarify how the custom gateway implementation will affect the user experience, especially for those unfamiliar with bridging tokens?
[RFC] Synthetix LTIP Grant Extension Request
I abstain because while the extension seems beneficial, it introduces concerns about fairness to other protocols without similar opportunities. The lack of a streamlined process for handling delays makes it difficult to confidently support this specific request.
RFC: Gyroscope LTIPP Grant Extension Request
I support this proposal since LTIPP has shown good results. As long as Gyroscope stays within budget, I see no reason not to back this initiative. I just have one question… What happens if some integrations fail to complete during this extension?
RFC: Aave DAO LTIPP Grant Extension Request
Seems reasonable as it allows them more time to distribute the remaining ARB tokens, which were delayed due to technical issues. But how will they ensure future delays won’t impact distribution? What contingency plans are in place for further setbacks?
Non-Constitutional: Terms of Tenure for STEP Program Manager
Exactly, I was a bit confused when voting on Snapshot too. Listing the bullet points might give us a clearer idea of how to vote, especially since there are new users in the forum each time. That said, I think I would vote in the following order:
- Additional funds for one year
- 6 months from available funds
- New election at $86,581 each year
- Liquidation of RWAs and STEP program
- Abstain
GovHack Devcon in Bangkok - Hack Humanity
I believe it’s a good idea the number of events per year, as it will help strengthening the team by creating a more united community. Also, the inclusive participation through voting by experienced individuals will ensure the right representatives are chosen. I would also like to highlight the importance of broadcasting these events online for those unable to attend and to keep everyone updated on new developments.
[Non-Constitutional] Funds to Bolster Foundation’s Strategic Partnerships Budget
I’ll abstain my vote. I’m particularly concerned about the significant budget allocation to gaming, which seems disproportionate compared to DeFi & Fintech. Additionally, the description of the “Others” section leaves room for doubt, needing more clarity.
Arbitrum Offsite format: online vs IRL
This is how I voted on Snapshot:
I think it’s a good idea to meet the team IRL on dates that don’t interfere with most people’s work/activities. It could be organized through a vote three months in advance to make it fair. I know you currently hold online calls, and I’d like to stay informed to learn more about the Arbitrum ecosystem and the people behind the projects. How can I stay updated on these online calls?
Arbitrum DAO Procurement Committee: Phase II Proposal
I’ll be voting in favor of extending the ADPC’s role into Phase II on Tally and Snapshot.
Their achievements in Phase I, including cost savings and setting up procurement frameworks, have demonstrated their effectiveness. The Phase II strategy is well-planned, with a clear and transparent budget.
AIP: Whitelist Infura Nova Validator
I believe it’s positive that Infura has been added to the whitelist, as it’s a reliable provider in the industry. However, are there any risks in over-relying on Infura’s infrastructure? I would like to wait and see what the majority thinks before voting.
Research on context and retention
I’m definitely voting in favor of this one!
TogetherCrew’s solid history with other DAOs and the fact that experienced researchers are on board, it just makes the whole thing even better.
@ danielo consider sharing regular updates on your progress so the community stays informed!
An EIP-4824 powered daoURI for Arbitrum DAO
I vote in favor of this proposal. @ amanwithwings I appreciate that it was done correctly in the “Proposal” section using the usual process. I believe it will help us gather all the necessary information to make a more informed decision.
