Arbitrum Security Program
The Arbitrum Foundation proposes to continue and evolve the Arbitrum Audit Program (AAP) with a one-year mandate - into a broader Arbitrum Security Program (ASP), running for a further 12 months on a rolling-application basis and utilizing the excess funds from the AAP:
- The mandate of the ASP covers the full security lifecycle: AI-assisted screening ahead of a full audit, the human-conducted audit itself, the Arbitrum bug bounty program, and the ArbitrumDAO Security Council.
- The audit committee technical expert retainer is modified to $2.5k/month based on expected workload; the DAO-approved alignment framework is maintained as the program’s baseline; program changes adopt a lightweight optimistic approval process to reduce governance overhead; and idle funds are put to work in low-risk management strategies.

On-chain Proposals
Authorize Priority Gas Auctions and Establish the Fast Feed
This AIP proposes to combine two separate actions (that previously passed temperature checks) into a single on-chain vote for the ArbitrumDAO to consider.
1. Transitioning Arbitrum One’s ordering policy from Timeboost to Priority Gas Auctions:
- This would disable Timeboost on Arbitrum One and replace it with a Priority Gas Auction (PGA) mechanism, an ordering policy that’s more familiar for actors who are willing to pay for transaction priority. In addition, it would sunset Timeboost on Arbitrum Nova.
2. Establishing the Fast Feed, a paid and authenticated data streaming product for Arbitrum One:
- This would allow subscribers to get updates on transactions, their relative ordering, and related transaction metadata earlier than they would otherwise via the regular feed.
- 97% of subscription revenue would be routed to the ArbitrumDAO and 3% to the Arbitrum Developer Guild.
