As we continue into Q3, the AGV team has been focused on ensuring our work is regularly communicated with the DAO, facilitating delegate engagement with our portcos, and expanding internal capacity. This month’s update offers a quick view of key initiatives that are underway and what’s next on the horizon.
Transparency Report 2
Our team has spent much of July preparing AGV Transparency Report #2*,* and we’re excited to finally be able to share it with you all: Transparency Report #2 DocSend link.
This report covers all our progress made in H1 2025, including an overview of the market and ecosystem trends in the gaming sector, our evolving investment thesis, plans and current progress, venture activities so far, and our focus areas heading into H2.
Note: Transparency Report 2 reflects program activity and financial data through May 31, 2025. It does not include deployments, progress, or transactions finalized after that date.

Next Level: Wildcard Playtest with Delegates
We launched the Next Level playtest series on July 11 with a private Wildcard gaming session for DAO members. Over a dozen delegates signed up for the event, which featured high-intensity matches, a Q&A and game walkthrough by the Wildcard team, and a healthy mix of banter and feedback.
This playtest marks the beginning of a broader initiative to give delegates early access to AGV-backed titles and foster a richer gaming culture in the Arbitrum DAO. The full recap of the session, including highlight clips, is available on the forum here:
We’re looking forward to bringing the next installment of this quarterly playtest series to the DAO in Q4!
Arbitrum + Gaming in the Press
Arbitrum gaming continued to gain visibility this month with feature stories from major outlets:
These narratives reflect the growing momentum in the Arbitrum ecosystem and AGV’s role in positioning Arbitrum as a premier destination for blockchain-native games.
Team Expansion: Grants Lead Joins
We’re pleased to welcome Ade Molajo to the AGV team as our new Grants Lead. Ade brings a unique mix of experience in ecosystem operations and DAO-native grantmaking. With experience in both Big Four consulting and institutional crypto, he offers a rare and valuable perspective. His focus will be on improving our grant design, deployment process, and post-grant tracking—ensuring that capital allocation is both efficient and aligned with long-term impact.
What’s Next
Looking ahead to August, our near-term priorities include:
-
Completing our internal tracking framework for both investments and grants, with a focus on progress metrics and DAO-facing transparency
-
New hires announcement for key operational and leadership roles!
As always, AGV is here to serve the DAO and drive long-term growth in gaming on Arbitrum. Feel free to reach out to @Insomniac, @Atomist, or @Djinn if you’d like to learn more, give feedback, or get involved.
Stay tuned, and thanks for your support!
