Arbitrum Creative Hub (Report)

REPORT FOR MILESTONE 1

We’re excited to present you the report on the successful completion of our first milestone, focused on onboarding and teaching web2 developers on how to build with Arbitrum stylus

The workshops focused on introducing developers to Arbitrum stylus.

Our Goal for this milestone is to attract web2 developers to learn and build with Arbitrum stylus

Step by steps process on how we achieved our goals

  1. we started by putting a call out for developers to join our free online training on Arbitrum stylus… we had 73 people registered for the class. We had an average of 25 attendees attend the class

2nd step… .(Arbitrum Creative Hub)

  1. we reached out to 4 local web3 communities for the publicity of the physical workshop, we had a total of 296 registration and 103, attendees

One of the major highlight of the event was the grouping of attendees to build Creative products using the Arbitrum stylus, based on what they have learnt at the online class

We gave them a list of what to build from.

  1. Event ticketing platform
  2. Music Marketplace platform

We had a total of 6 groups, 4 groups were able to successfully deploy their products on the Arbitrum stylus.

List of products build by different teams

Team 1 built a Music market place using stylus

Project Description:

The project Song Mart is a decentralized application (DApp) that allows users to upload, purchase, and sell songs using the platform’s native token, $SMT. Users can buy songs in various quantities, facilitating flexible access to music, and also send and receive $SMT tokens directly within the app, enabling seamless peer-to-peer transactions. The platform combines blockchain technology with music distribution, ensuring transparency and empowering creators and listeners with secure and decentralized interactions.

Challenge from the workshop

Our major challenge was getting beginners involved in the building process, we are working on a structure that will teach people that want to learn ( frontend, backend , and full stack from scratch), this will help us easily onboard new developers to the Arbitrum stylus

All products was built on using on stylus

Short Video highlights from the workshop

Our Next plan is to train a newbies and do a follow up with products that was built, we just don’t want to build products that people will not get to use. We plan to have our own ticketing platform.
Our long term goal is to onboard and educate 10,000 developers and creators to build on the Arbitrum stylus.

We appreciate your support in achieving our goals. Your feedback and comments is very important to us. Please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below or reach out via DM.
