Arbitrum DAO in ETH Bucharest 2025

SPREADSHEET: Arbitrum Booth at ETH Bucharest

@paulofonseca and I have prepared a spreadsheet for managing the booth: Time slots for Arbitrum booth at ETH Bucharest - Google Sheets

Please enter your name in one or more time slots. Multiple people can sign up for the same slot, but let’s try to keep it to a maximum of two persons per slot.

Tagging those who have expressed interest in helping (others are welcome too): @Tekr0x.eth, @baer.eth, Denys from @lobbyfi, @ZER8 and @krst - Thanks! :folded_hands:

That is great. Thanks for putting this together. I added myself to one slot each day. I might hang around also during other slots as well.

The booths are usually most busy early on the 1st day. So first slot. I suggest opening this slot to 4 people there?

Hey there!

We just had our final coordination call today. You can check the recording here.

We are 1 week away from the conference and I’m glad to say, everything that we setup to do is decided, taken care of, or in the very very final stages of execution.

Here are some updates on the decisions we made, as a DAO, in the same order as the original post:

  1. :white_check_mark: Speakers: As mentioned previously, this is decided and coordinated. There is a telegram chat with all the Arbitrum speakers so that they coordinate their talks and don’t overlap too much. Speakers still need to get their speaker passes, which should happen today. Also, the conference agenda will be out today as well.
  2. :hourglass_done: Hackathon Workshops: This is set, but still being worked on. ChrisCo will give one workshop about Stylus, and Alex will lead the Stylus challenge. We still need to get the final information on the DoraHacks page and on the Hackers Handbook Notion page. This is the working document for that.
  3. :white_check_mark: Hackathon Bounties: These are set, but the information is still not on the hackathon notion page and will be soon. This is the spreadsheet with all the bounties prizes.
  4. :white_check_mark: Hackathon Judges: This is also set, as previously mentioned.
  5. :hourglass_done: Manning the booth: We have some people already committed to man the booth. But we need more people, please put your name in your preferred time slot in this spreadsheet.
  6. :white_check_mark: Design of the booth: All set as mentioned previously. Also, here is the video for the TV in the booth. (This video is in the Delegates Telegram chat, if you are a delegate, you can ask for access to this private delegate chat by following these instructions.
  7. :white_check_mark: Merch: We ordered the t-shirts last week, they will arrive tomorrow and printing can begin.

These t-shirts were custom designed by @Aarcii. We will also have other merch items such as Stickers, Tote bags (with the same design as the t-shirts), Small Fanny Packs, and Beanies that have also been ordered already.
  8. :white_check_mark: Digital roll-ups: Video also in the Telegram Delegates Chat (if you are a delegate, you can ask for access to this private delegate chat by following these instructions.
  9. :hourglass_done: Free Tickets: Distributed the 5 free VIP tickets to the ones mentioned previously, and 5 General tickets as well. There are still 5 General tickets left. Get a free ticket here.
  10. :hourglass_done: Ticket Discount Code: @arbitrum x.com account retweeted this but the discount code has not been shared yet by the Arbitrum account. Here are the 50% discount codes for a General ticket, and for a VIP ticket.

So, to summarize, our next priorities are:

  1. Put the hackathon information on the hackathon’s Dorahack and notion page.
  2. Get the @arbitrum x.com account to tweet about the ticket discount code.
  3. Hope all the merch turns out great =)
  4. SUCCESS!!!?!?

See you next week, in Bucharest! =)

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this effort! You all rock!

Hey there!

It’s done! The hackathon was awesome, the conference was great, it all went according to plan and I would consider it a success!

Here are the photos available for now:
:camera_with_flash: Day 1 (April 2nd): View Photos
:camera_with_flash: Day 2 (April 3rd): View Photos
:camera_with_flash: Day 3 (April 4th): View Photos
:camera_with_flash: Speaker’s Dinner (April 4th): View Photos
:camera_with_flash: Day 4 (April 5th): View Photos

Next Steps:

  1. Get the list of emails, wallet addresses, and USDC amounts from the hackathon participants that will receive a prize, so that the @Arbitrum Foundation can pay the hackathon bounties to the winners.
  2. Do a retrospective with ChrisCo and Alex, the hackathon bounty leaders, to document learnings and improvements for next time
  3. Do a call with the whole DAO to report on what happened and for it’s recording to serve as a preliminary impact report.
  4. Do an impact report of this sponsorship and post it here on the forum.

Thank you all! Especcialy to those that came to Bucharest last week, and made this event super special! @TempeTechie @Tekr0x.eth @ZER8 @andreiv @krst @Sinkas @baer.eth @lobbyfi and Ricardo “Gordon” from the @Arbitrum Foundation, and ChrisCo from @offchainlabs.
