Hi all, after passing snapshot and a good start to the Tally vote for the pilot phase of the Arbitrum Ventures Initiative we decided to kick off some of the activities.
One of them is the first of a series of community engagement talks on key topics related to the upcoming work. You can find the details in the governance calendar and bellow.
Specifically we’ll have Paul Burmester from the our team speak about his experience in managing a similar 350m fund ecosystem fund as the one we’re trying to setup for Aribturm. Innov8 is the investment arm of Singtel, a 40b mobile network infrastructure provider.
Bio:
Paul Burmester is a distinguished founder and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. He has driven seven exits, creating over $4.7 billion in increased shareholder value through strategic acquisitions and IPOs. Burmester’s expertise in building and scaling technology businesses led him to his role as Head of Singtel’s $350 million ecosystem investment fund, Innov8. At Innov8, he focused on identifying and nurturing innovative startups globally, fostering strategic partnerships, and driving engagement within the Singtel Group. Additionally, Burmester has held significant roles such as Chief Operating Officer at Private AI and CEO at ValidSoft. He is also actively involved in mentoring and advising startups, focusing on turning early-stage technology businesses into globally successful enterprises.
