Bleap: Fintech wallet on Arbitrum

Bleap presentation to Arbitrum DAO: Monday, 10 Nov at 2pm UTC (Google Meet)

Early in the SOS process, we talked about the idea of building a fintech-style mobile wallet on Arbitrum.

Turns out, something like that was already in the works. The team of ex-Revolut employees were busy building a web3 alternative to tradfi fintech apps. It’s called Bleap Finance: https://www.bleap.finance/.

Bleap is a non-custodial wallet that comes with a debit card, and it’s all running on Arbitrum. They’re aiming to attract crypto newbies, so they’re using account abstraction to make registration and onboarding super simple.

They’ve also integrated various DeFi dApps, enabling users to easily access features like trading and earning interest via lending protocols.

I’ve invited Bleap CEO Joao to present Bleap to the DAO, so we can learn more about what they’re building and explore if there’s any way the DAO could support them.

As mentioned in the topic about consumer apps, we really need more products that are easy to use and appeal to everyday users, not just to crypto-natives. Bleap fits that vision perfectly.

Joao will be presenting on Monday, 10 November at 2 PM UTC. All details and the Google Meet link are available in the Arbitrum DAO Google Calendar.

See you there!
