The DePIN, RWA & Gaming Education Hub in Brazil by FECOXA was a four-month educational initiative created to introduce Portuguese-speaking audiences to the Arbitrum ecosystem through localized educational content.

The program focused on three emerging narratives within Web3:

• Real World Assets (RWA)
• Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePIN)
• Gaming infrastructure built on Arbitrum

Through livestreams, long-form videos, short-form content and community discussions, the initiative aimed to simplify complex blockchain infrastructure topics and make them accessible to a broader audience in Brazil and LATAM.

Throughout the entire duration of the grant, all social media profiles clearly displayed the message “Sponsored by Arbitrum DAO”, ensuring transparency and clear attribution to the ecosystem.

Market Context During the Grant

During the final months of the program, the cryptocurrency market experienced a significant slowdown.

This had a direct impact on organic reach and demand for educational Web3 content across platforms.

In response to this environment, the strategy focused on maintaining educational depth and strong engagement rather than purely maximizing reach.

To ensure the engagement KPI remained above the committed threshold, the program significantly expanded the volume of produced content across multiple platforms, resulting in substantial over-delivery compared to the original targets.

Despite the challenging market conditions, the initiative maintained an average engagement rate above 6% throughout the entire program.

Narrative Evolution During the Program

Another important dynamic during the grant period was the shift in market interest between DePIN and RWA narratives.

While DePIN remained a central theme of the program, interest in the sector declined during the latter months of the grant.

At the same time, Real World Assets became one of the most discussed narratives in the market, increasing curiosity from the community about tokenized assets and real-world blockchain applications.

A large portion of the content therefore focused on explaining foundational concepts such as:

• how tokenization works
• how real-world assets can be brought on-chain
• the role of Arbitrum in scaling these infrastructures

Many viewers were encountering the concept of tokenized assets for the first time.

Another relevant ecosystem development was the announcement of the Robinhood Chain, which occurred only at the end of the grant period.

Because Robinhood services are not currently available in Brazil, onboarding opportunities for Brazilian users remain limited.

However, the announcement reinforced the importance of RWA education and highlighted the growing relevance of tokenized assets across the industry.

Ecosystem Integrations and Practical Onboarding

A particularly meaningful outcome of the program was the direct onboarding of Arbitrum as a supported network within OKX Pay deposit flows.

During the grant period, OKX launched OKX Pay, its payment solution connected to its card infrastructure.

Through ongoing conversations with the OKX team, I actively advocated for the inclusion of Arbitrum as one of the supported networks for deposits.

As a result of this initiative, Arbitrum was added as a supported deposit network, allowing users to fund their balances using USDT on Arbitrum rather than being limited only to X Layer.

This created a practical real-world use case where users can interact with Arbitrum within a payment workflow.

The inclusion of Arbitrum was publicly acknowledged by members of the OKX Brazil team and the announcement generated engagement on social media.

Gaming Education

Educational content was also produced covering My Pet Hooligan, highlighting how blockchain technology can function inside games without relying on speculative financial mechanics.

Instead, the content focused on explaining the concept of true ownership of in-game assets, demonstrating how blockchain infrastructure can enhance gaming experiences while maintaining player ownership.

2. Performance Against KPIs

Content Deliverables

Deliverable Target Delivered
Livestreams 40 95
Long-form videos 8 13
Short-form videos 48 95
Threads / Articles 8 8
Posts 16 75
Discord CTAs 12 12

Because of the multi-platform distribution strategy, the total amount of published content was significantly higher than the baseline deliverables.

Short-form content was distributed across Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, resulting in:

284 short-form videos published across platforms

Livestreams were simultaneously broadcast on Twitch, Kick and YouTube, resulting in:

209 livestream broadcasts across the three platforms

Audience Metrics

KPI Target Result
Total Impressions 800,000 348,000
Engagement Rate ≥ 6% 6.11%

Although total impressions were lower than initially projected, engagement levels remained consistently strong considering the broader market slowdown.

Long-Term Educational Impact

An important aspect of this initiative is that much of the content produced is evergreen educational material.

Many videos explain foundational concepts such as:

• What DePIN infrastructure networks are
• How Real World Assets are tokenized
• How Arbitrum scales Ethereum infrastructure
• How blockchain applications can be used in real-world contexts

Because of this, the educational value of the content extends well beyond the grant period, as these videos can continue onboarding new users into the Arbitrum ecosystem over time.

3. Qualitative Impact & Community Feedback

Ecosystem Impact

Storming – CEO & Founder, TempestLabs

“I had the opportunity to closely follow Fecoxa’s Grant journey with Arbitrum. Having worked with Arbitrum for approximately three years, I can confidently say that Fecoxa was one of the most outstanding contributors in truly embodying the network’s values and mission.”

João Kury – Arbitrum DAO LATAM

“Seeing Fecoxa build alongside Arbitrum has been great. It’s exciting to see high-quality content about the ecosystem being created in Portuguese and helping bring the Brazilian community closer to Arbitrum.”

Yuri Cervantes – Business Development Manager, OKX Brazil

“It was a very positive surprise working with Fecoxa. His dedication and professionalism stand out clearly. Through daily livestreams and educational content he consistently explained complex topics in a way that was accessible to the community.”

Educational Impact

Community members frequently highlighted the clarity of the explanations and the connection between theory and real-world applications.

Examples of feedback include:

Cris CMR
“I followed your content about DePIN, RWA and the Arbitrum ecosystem and really liked the clear way you explain topics that are usually complex.”

TreHac
“What I liked most was the connection between theory and practice.”

MMD
“I really liked the simple way you explain things in both recorded videos and livestreams.”

FPozzi
“For me it was a great learning experience.”

Community Impact

Crypto Zenderman
“He brings information that many people are not paying attention to but that makes a real difference for users who want to follow the ecosystem.”

Gabs Fonseca
“I learned things I did not even know existed in crypto.”

FrostGroup
“He always studies projects deeply and explains them with clarity and patience.”

Organic Growth & Authentic Engagement

All content produced during the grant was 100% organic.

There were no paid media campaigns, marketing amplification or engagement farming strategies.

Only two giveaways occurred during the program:

• a My Pet Hooligan community giveaway requested by the project team
• a hardware wallet giveaway after the grant to encourage honest feedback

Neither giveaway was designed to artificially inflate engagement metrics.

Tracking & Onboarding Metrics

One metric originally planned for the program was the use of UTM tracking links to measure onboarding flows.

However, including external links inside short-form videos and livestream descriptions had a significant negative impact on platform algorithms.

Because these platforms reduce distribution when content pushes users away from the platform, the decision was made to prioritize organic reach and educational discovery.

4. Financial Summary

Total grant received: 21,800 USD

Funds were used according to the original budget plan to support:

• content production
• editing and video production
• research and scripting
• thumbnails and visual assets
• community engagement

Additional investments of approximately 2,980 USD were personally covered in order to maximize the impact of the program.

These included:

• training new editors
• AI tools for visual production
• creative asset subscriptions
• travel to Argentina to cover Arbitrum-related events

5. Future Plans & Continued Ecosystem Alignment

The work initiated through this grant will continue beyond the program period.

I plan to continue producing educational content about:

• DePIN
• Real World Assets
• Web3 Gaming
• Arbitrum ecosystem developments

Currently I remain one of the few Portuguese-speaking creators consistently covering these topics regardless of market hype cycles.

As the Questbook grant program is currently undergoing restructuring, I look forward to continuing contributing educational content and ecosystem coverage when the next iteration of the program becomes available.

6. Additional Remarks

This initiative demonstrated the importance of localized Web3 education in emerging markets such as Brazil and LATAM.

There is strong demand for accessible educational content in Portuguese explaining complex blockchain infrastructure topics.

Through consistent educational production and community engagement, this initiative helped expand awareness of DePIN, Real World Assets and the Arbitrum ecosystem within the Brazilian Web3 community.
