As we head into 2026, the Arbitrum Foundation is working on an initiative to identify the major points of friction in ArbitrumDAO’s governance stack. This includes, but is not limited to:

Governance tooling: This section aims to collect feedback on the existing governance stack (Discourse, Snapshot, and Tally).

Governance processes: This section aims to collect feedback on the current timelines, frameworks, and technical expertise (for example, in reviewing onchain proposals) expected from a participant.

Participation experience: This section aims to collect feedback on your experience joining, contributing, and continuing to keep up with ArbitrumDAO. It explores your workload, notification system, information sources, etc.
The intention of the survey is to make the overall governance experience smoother and more efficient for participants. We plan on using insights from the survey to help facilitate various improvements for ArbitrumDAO. While individual responses will not be shared publicly, aggregate learnings and key insights will be made public.
