OpCo December 2025 Update

Hello Arbitrum delegates and stakeholders,

This is the December 2025 OpCo monthly update. I’m posting on behalf of the OpCo Oversight and Transparency Committee (OAT), of which I am an elected member along with Patrick McCorry, A.J. Warner, Pedro Breuer, and Gavin Wang. Please feel free to reply with questions and comments.

We hosted the monthly DAO call on Friday, December 5th at 3:00pm UTC.

Since the October update, we’ve been focused on hiring OpCo personnel, operationalizing the OpCo, and working in the DAO.

Hiring OpCo Personnel

  • We are actively recruiting for Legal Counsel and a Director of Finance and Treasury to accelerate and unblock DAO programs.
  • We are actively searching for a “Chief Chaos Coordinator” (Head of OpCo Foundation). We are actively interviewing multiple promising candidates for this role. With Tamara and now Sinkas on board, we are operationally driving the OpCo forward. When we find the right candidate for Head of OpCo, we expect them to complement and strengthen our existing efforts.
  • All open OpCo positions are posted on Lever.

Operationalizing the OpCo

  • The OAT actively participated in Arbitrum DAO events at Devconnect, including the ArbiCasa and strategic planning sessions with other AAEs.
  • We have continued weekly OAT member meetings with strong attendance.
  • Tamara and Sinkas have been actively driving the OpCo forward on several fronts, including:
    • Supporting AAEs/increasing efficiency among AAEs
      • Supporting AGV in their council elections
      • Launching several small efforts to bring the AAEs closer together, increase communication and information sharing
      • Supporting AF Grants team to develop a one-stop-hub for grants
    • Making the DAO exciting again
    • DAO Strategy & Growth
      • Laying the groundwork for a cross-AAE high-level strategy
    • OpCo Internal Operations
      • Publishing the transparency report and establishing monthly (internal) financial reporting cadences
      • Doubling down on finding suitable candidates for open positions by working with external recruitment agencies, and conducting an average of 5-6 interviews per week

Working in the DAO

  • In Entropy’s TMC proposal, the OAT “approves or denies allocation recommendations from [Entropy]”. We are actively fulfilling this responsibility.
  • In Entropy’s proposal to Work Exclusively with the Arbitrum DAO, OpCo serves as Entropy’s counterparty. In addition, 10M ARB are set aside for the OAT to negotiate directly with Entropy Advisors on establishing short, medium, and long-term incentive mechanisms. We are actively working to finalize incentive mechanisms for Entropy.
