Hello Arbitrum delegates and stakeholders,
This is the October 2025 OpCo monthly update. I’m posting on behalf of the OpCo Oversight and Transparency Committee (OAT), of which I am an elected member along with Patrick McCorry, A.J. Warner, Pedro Breuer, and Gavin Wang. Please feel free to reply with questions and comments.
We hosted the monthly DAO call on Friday, October 17th at 2:00pm UTC.
Since the September update, we’ve been focused on hiring OpCo personnel, operationalizing the OpCo, and working in the DAO.
Hiring OpCo Personnel
- We are thrilled to announce Sinkas has joined the OpCo as employee #2 in the role of Program Manager! As Program Manager, Sinkas will focus on streamlining the execution of initiatives undertaken by the DAO and working closely with all stakeholders—from delegates and contributors to AAEs—to ensure we make the biggest positive impact possible. Sinkas will serve as the liaison between the OpCo and the DAO, communicating updates, answering questions, providing transparency, and acting as a primary point of contact for all DAO members.
- We have begun recruiting for Legal Counsel and a Director of Finance and Treasury to accelerate and unblock DAO programs.
- We continue our search for a “Chief Chaos Coordinator” (Head of OpCo Foundation). We are actively interviewing multiple promising candidates for this role. With Tamara and now Sinkas on board, we are operationally driving the OpCo forward. When we find the right candidate for Head of OpCo, we expect them to complement and strengthen our existing efforts.
- All open OpCo positions are posted on Lever.
Operationalizing the OpCo
- Tamara and Sinkas have been actively driving the OpCo forward on several fronts, including:
- Hiring an accounting firm
- Setting up a website
- Establishing relationships with delegates & all AAEs
- Taking over DAO calls
- Organizing a DevConnect event
- We have continued weekly OAT member meetings with strong attendance.
Working in the DAO
- In Entropy’s TMC proposal, the OAT “approves or denies allocation recommendations from [Entropy]”. We are actively fulfilling this responsibility.
- In Entropy’s proposal to Work Exclusively with the Arbitrum DAO, OpCo serves as Entropy’s counterparty. In addition, 10M ARB are set aside for the OAT to negotiate directly with Entropy Advisors on establishing short, medium, and long-term incentive mechanisms. We are actively working to finalize incentive mechanisms for Entropy.
