OpCo Update July 2026

Hello Arbitrum delegates and stakeholders,

This is the July 2026 OpCo monthly update. I’m posting on behalf of the OpCo Oversight and Transparency Committee (OAT), of which I am an elected member along with Patrick McCorry, A.J. Warner, Pedro Breuer, and Gavin Wang. Please feel free to reply with questions and comments.

We hosted the monthly DAO call on Friday, July 10th at 3:00pm UTC.

Since the June update, we’ve been focused on hiring OpCo personnel, operationalizing the OpCo, and working in the DAO.

This is the last OpCo monthly update in this format. This meeting will be combined with other OpCo reporting calls going forward.

Hiring OpCo Personnel

  • We hired a Head of OpCo!
  • We are no longer actively recruiting for open positions.

Operationalizing the OpCo

  • Tamara, Sinkas and Armin have been actively driving the OpCo forward on several fronts, including:
  1. Supporting AAEs/increasing efficiency among AAEs

    • Began the AGV operational transfer, working closely with the AGV team for a smooth transition
    • Progressed a cross-org CRM to better track builders, delegates and AAE touchpoints
    • Co-ordinated cross-AAE initiatives
  2. Making the DAO exciting again

    • Firestarters delivered
Today in DeFi’s deliverable was also presented to the DAO in a call.
    • Published a governance UI tutorial for delegates and rolled out a Claude delegate toolkit for early feedback
  3. DAO Strategy & Growth

    • Onboarded Head of OpCo and held irl kick-off with other AAEs
  4. Internal& DAO Operations

  • We have continued weekly OAT member meetings with strong attendance.

Working in the DAO

  • In Entropy’s TMC proposal, the OAT “approves or denies allocation recommendations from [Entropy]”. We are actively fulfilling this responsibility.
  • In Entropy’s proposal to Work Exclusively with the Arbitrum DAO, OpCo serves as Entropy’s counterparty. In addition, 10M ARB are set aside for the OAT to negotiate directly with Entropy Advisors on establishing short, medium, and long-term incentive mechanisms. We are actively working to finalize incentive mechanisms for Entropy.
