Hey Mate. You are not stupid, don’t say that to yourself.
As per this proposal, we all are still waiting for Arbitrum Foundation to act on it, the silence is irritating but what can we do . Even the delegates we tagged to hear their opinion/view about it all kept mute. No one knows what is happening. In fact last votes on the amended AIP 1 has not been concluded since voting ended some couple of weeks ago on Snapshot. Governance has not commence I will say.
Thanks but I do I just don’t understand all this stuff. It’s just not registering right to me. I understand the person with most has more say so like votes and stuff. I feel stupid cause I am tech intelligent I would say so on the hardware side not software side. But I think I would know better to send that back to the ppl that gave it to me. Lol and if I did idk know how I did it. I mean I didn’t even know I had it until I saw it on aribiscan. But here is the $1.09 | Arbitrum (ARB) Token Tracker | Arbiscan
You know it’s sad when you come here and try to learn how all this works and you have fake ppl wanna hop in your messages and tell u all this bull crap trying to scam ppl. What in the world are ppl smoking that has them so greedy and not even caring bout stealing from ppl that has already lost our on. I mean how the f was y’all raised??? Greed smh. I had 4 ppl message me trying to phish out information on my wallet and while I had support on chat. Smh so if any new ppl that don’t know much bout crypto be careful for the wolves in the sheepskin. Waiting to rip your throat out. Don’t tell nobody no info unless u know for sure they are who they really are. May what ever higher lower power u believe in bless you. Cause greed is a deadly sin. My friend
We are NOT waiting for the foundation to do something. The foundation launched the DAO. Now the DAO needs to do something if they want to. With the behavior I’ve seen in this thread, I have no interest in writing up a proposal for this.
Continually asking the foundation to do something isn’t going to help. The only think that might help is drafting a proposal that is specific and actionable. I doubt it would pass (I would vote against), but you are welcome to do so.
Mate, if you know the right thing to do and you think you could do it, do it for the sake of helping. Most folks on this thread are new to how DAO operates. I am learning stuffs myself. So if you see us directing chats to foundation and delegates, it’s because we think foundation pilot the discourses here.
The delegates we assumed should know what to do ought to guide us or write their opinion on this kept mute, and that’s not helping. I know couple of us tagged some of lead delegates but no response.
If you could assist, pls do. I know people were suggesting that proposal writer and those dev that will do the work should be paid from tokens to be return, it’s good for us.
, very inspiring and bold; leaving the realm of certainty into uncertain sector.
Can you help with the proposal or if possible help fine-tuning this one with @Welly ? I am sure the folks affected will appreciate. You could also incorporate in the proposal the amount and how those who do the work will be paid.
No one is disputing that mate. Yes, it’s our fault and somehow it is unexplainable as it happened to more than 20 individuals. If we are to join the call for crypto adoption, this attitude will not help. You voting No is no issue, but let it be properly put to vote.
If you can do this, would you like to do this and charge your work on success base? The total amount is about 167k $ARB, would you like to prepare and propose the necessary proposal for 20% for example?
This is a result of people’s own fault but it is not 100%. Remember the airdrop claiming day. The claiming site was not working properly and people had to wait for hours for a simple claiming process. Most of the people would not make this mistake if the site had worked properly. In my example, I have done thousands of transfers until this one, and I did not make such a mistake. But in this situation I have waited more than 4 hours in front of the screen for the claiming process to work properly. After I received them, I just wanted to transfer them to my long term wallet but transferred to the contract address, because I was exhausted with the foundation’s site.
If you can able to help us, it will be appreciated and I’m sure all of us ready to pay 20% for such help.
No, I would not do that. First it is an unfair reward amount for me to ask. Second, I don’t see any reason to think that there is much other than spam here.
I would help if someone were to present a solid piece of evidence. This isn’t something I can do for you. This is my last comment in this thread.
Perhaps you could run a bounty for a data analyst to examine what addresses are effected and why. Then you could run a bounty to have a reputable group like the Open Data Community do a sybil analysis to weed out scammers.
Then, if there was something there AND me seeing that you were willing to put skin in the game first, I might help draft a proposal. Currently, your proposal to pay me a lot to make it happen is clearly unethical. It allows you to make a large bet without skin in the game.
Thank you for the quick response. I do not know how much work does this proposal needs, so I do not think the amount is unethically too much. But, as far as I understood from you, it does not require much hours.
It is not something about spam or scam. We are here since the very first day. In my example, I have copied the contract address to import the token to my MM wallet, then I thougt that I have copied my long term wallet address but I could not unfortunately and transferred them to the contract address which was still in the cache. It was a simple but huge mistake, because of my exhaustion by the claiming site.
I have the transaction details as evidence, but if you can tell which solid evidences can able to convince you, I would be glad to present.
