Hi everyone! None of the OAT members could join the call today, and I saw there were some questions about our work, which I’ll address below:
Is the recruitment process started?
Yes, we’ve been interviewing candidates for the OpCo Foundation Lead (Chief of Chaos Coordinator) for a few weeks now.
Which platform are they using to screen candidates so I can refer good candidates to apply for? Or are they using a recruitment agency?
We’re not using any platform or agency at the moment. Right now, we’re focused on hiring the OpCo Foundation Lead, a role we see as essential so that person can also be involved in the next hiring rounds. That said, anyone interested in being part of the OpCo can reach out to me directly or to any OAT member to express their interest.
And I guess OAT is completed now with all 5 members if I’m not wrong:

Here is a summary of the Arbitrum Foundation’s updates from yesterday’s GRC call.
Marketing:
- Arbitrum Kaito Leaderboard Launch has successfully helped increase Arbitrum’s mindshare.
- Arbitrum Ambassador Program launched in 3 new locales: Singapore, Indonesia and Argentina.
- Events: The Arbitrum Foundation had presence at Arbitrum Day (which was supported by the D.A.O Season 3 Grant Program) during EthMilan; at Permissionless where we co-sponsored a Sunset Happy Hour with Celestia and Securitize; and at EthCC where we co-hosted ArbiBrunch with Robinhood, and co-sponsored Dia Infra Gardens, AltLayer’s Let’s Get H(ai) event, and Encryption Day.
Finance:
- The Finance Team converted all funds for the TMC’s Stablecoin Allocation, converted half of STEP 2.0 funds, moved over the redeemed USDM funds to the Step 2.0 budget, and converted almost all funds for D.A.O Season 3 Grant Program.
Arbitrum Audit Program:
- Gustavo Grieco has been elected as the Technical Expert of the Arbitrum Audit Committee.
- The committee will now start the audit firm whitelisting process (which currently in the last phase of technical due diligence).
Ecosystem:
- During EthCC it was announced that Robinhood will launch tokenized stocks on Arbitrum One, and later - a Robinhood Layer 2 blockchain utilizing the Orbit stack, which is predicted to onboard millions of net-new users into crypto! Robinhood has issued 200+ US stock and ETF tokens on Arbitrum One, for EU customers directly in their Robinhood app. This announcement was the biggest news coming out of EthCC. Check out Robinhood’s announcements here:
- Ethena and Securitize also recently chose to deploy the Converge chain using the Orbit stack, serving as a settlement layer for onchain finance & RWAs.
