Next Level is a series of quarterly playtest sessions that give Arbitrum DAO members and community stakeholders exclusive early access to games building on Arbitrum. Each session is an opportunity for DAO members to get their hands on early builds and interact directly with development teams while fostering more excitement for gaming within the Arbitrum DAO.

Golden Tides is a pirate PVP adventure MOBA where you and your crew dive into explosive battles across land and sea. Some sail for victory, some for fun. No matter the goal, every 20–25 minute voyage is full of unpredictable encounters, epic ship battles, and tales worth telling at the tavern. Check out the trailer below:

Golden Tides is built by Psychedelic Games, a global crew with deep roots in MOBAs, competitive gaming, and top-tier storytelling. The team includes veterans behind some of the biggest online games in the world, including League of Legends, Smite, Fortnite, PubG, CoD: Warzone, and ARK Survival Evolved. Now, they’re channeling that experience into something bold, fresh, and unforgettable.

The devs have also prepared a Quick Start Guide to give you an overview of how to play Golden Tides ahead of the playtest.

The Psychedelic Games team will kick off this Next Level session with a live intro and Q&A on Golden Tides’ Discord, followed by a 60-minute private playtest exclusively for DAO members.

  1. Reply to this thread with “AHOY!” to receive your referral code via private message.

  2. Download the Golden Tides client on Epic Games

  3. When asked, input your referral code to gain access to the playtest server.

  4. Join the Golden Tides Discord server for event kickoff, Q&A, and community chat at 5 PM UTC, November 6.
