Several Arbitrum delegates, service providers, and builders have already mentioned they will be attending in this forum poll.
To make the most of our time in Cannes, I’d like to open a few discussion points to help us coordinate. Cannes is a small city, so coordinating on short notice may be difficult. Hopefully, this thread helps us stay organized.

Arbitrum DAO Delegates Dinner – June 30
In-person meetups are rare and valuable. I’d love for us to organize an informal dinner for Arbitrum DAO delegates and Arbitrum friends on the evening of June 30 (Monday).

Arbitrum DAO Morning Run - July 1
I will host an Arbitrum DAO Morning Run during EthCC Week. The event is already on the EthCC side events list (EthCC Week Events).

At the time of writing, there haven’t been any announcements about official Arbitrum-sponsored events at EthCC. If you hear of any talks or side events, please drop a note in this thread so I can keep this post updated.
We’re less than a month away from EthCC in Cannes, France, and I’m excited to see many of you there. Looking forward to connecting and enjoying some time together under the French sun.
1. RSVP Reminder
If you haven’t already, please fill out the attendance survey (at the top). So far, 7 people have marked themselves as “going” and 8 as “maybe.” If you know whether you’ll be attending, please update your status to either “going” or “not going.”
I’ve booked a table for 12 at Bella Storia, a cozy Italian restaurant near the EthCC venue with a wide selection of dishes. As of now, 8 people have marked themselves as “going” in survey.
Finding a suitable restaurant wasn’t easy. Many require prepayment for larger groups or are closed on Mondays. But I think this one is a great fit. Hope we’ll enjoy it!
Over 250 people have applied so far We’re expecting 30-50 runners to show up. The event has been officially registered with the local authorities (via the EthCC organizers), which is standard procedure.
I’m also working with the POAP team to release a special POAP for all runners, minted on the Arbitrum network. Distribution will likely be via QR code or geo-location - we’ll confirm soon.
Looking forward to seeing you all in Cannes - for dinner, a run, or both!

We’ve now received over 500 applications for the Arbitrum DAO morning run. It’s clear that some people are randomly applying or just farming registrations, so we probably shouldn’t expect everyone to actually show up. That said, it’s great to see so much engagement. Arbitrum DAO has definitely made a strong impression among the Side Events.
POAP Update
This week, we finalized the POAP and its distribution method. Special thanks to Gabo and Cardno from the POAP team for their help.
The POAP is now fully designed - including the title, short description, and artwork. Here’s a preview:
This method will be available right after the run ends, at the square park with the fountain.
Participants can open the POAP Home app on their phones and claim the POAP by scanning the location. (similar to Pokemon Go)
Cardno.eth from the POAP team (who will attend the event) will bring NFC-enabled discs preloaded with 100 mint links. This is a great option for those who don’t have the POAP app installed yet.
All POAPs will be free to mint and issued on the Arbitrum One chain.
