Proposal: Arbitrum Growth Circles Event Proposal

Vote: AGAINST
Type: Off-chain

Rationale: This proposal seeks to allocate $67.2k out of the DAO Events Budget to fund the Arbitrum Growth Circle, a proposed event for Arbitrum ecosystem participants. While we appreciate the intention behind this proposal, we believe it does not align with the DAO’s Event Budget and Strategy for 2025. We also share concerns regarding the proposal’s timing, budget and impact, particularly since it is planned as a virtual event. Therefore, we will be voting AGAINST this proposal.

Proposal: Request to Increase the Stylus Sprint Committee’s Budget

Vote: FOR
Type: On-chain

Rationale: We voted in support of the off-chain vote and expressed our rationale here. We still maintain our position that the Stylus committee should receive additional funding to support more projects. Therefore, we are voting FOR in the on-chain vote.

Proposal: [CONSTITUTIONAL] AIP: ArbOS Version 40 Callisto

Vote: FOR
Type: Off-chain

Rationale: We appreciate the Foundation’s continuous efforts to bring improvements to the Arbitrum ecosystem, ensuring the protocol stays ahead of the competition. The proposed upgrade, “Callisto,” aims to equip Arbitrum with support for key execution layer changes from the ongoing Ethereum “Pectra” upgrade. This includes enabling EOAs to natively execute smart contracts and introducing other efficiency improvements. We believe this aligns Arbitrum with leading standards and further reinforces its position as an Ethereum-aligned ecosystem. Therefore, we will be voting FOR this proposal.

Proposal: Arbitrum Audit Program

Vote: ABSTAIN
Type: Off-chain

Rationale: This proposal seeks to allocate 30M ARB to establish an Arbitrum Audit Program led by the Arbitrum Foundation. As members of the Arbitrum DAO Procurement Committee (ADPC) we led the establishment of the Arbitrum Security Subsidy Fund (SSF) which provided security audits for projects within the Arbitrum ecosystem. The SSF was a large success and the Outcome Report for our work on the SSF can be found here. In our capacity as ADPC members we shared some comments and expressed some concerns on this proposal (below). However, we will be voting ABSTAIN in order to remain neutral.
