A brief summary of the project, its achievements, and overall impact on the Arbitrum ecosystem:
-
Summary: Chance is the first platform purpose-built by TCG natives for TCG collectors that provides a unified platform to turn their collections into connections. Chance offers instant liquidity, transparent transactions, and a vibrant social layer in an integrated superapp
-
Achievements: 1) Within a month, Chance has surpassed $1.3million organic volume from 1,000 paid users; 2) reached nearly 500K audience through 1.9M views (190K+ views on multiple videos and posts) and more
-
Impact on the Arbitrum ecosystem:
-
-
Explain the impact of the funding obtained through this very grant (we want to understand how the grant helped you): Our beyond-projections social results allowed us to secure a wider range and larger number of content creator partnerships such as CoolTrainerRyan, TwiceBakedJake, Nogla, PackBattle and more
-
-
Performance Against KPIs
- Our actual figures were more than double that of our projections. We improved our internal organic content processes that resulted in us pulling in 376 paid users. We hired an in-house producer and our head of content cracked the code on the meta for TCG content. Our paid UA channel (mainly FB and IG ads) results were on par since we spent nearly double the budget (this was because we saw positive traction on the ad spend so we increased our daily budget). Lastly is that the platform was extremely well-received by our creator network. One creator led to two, who then referred more creators to us so our creator efforts quadrupled in the time period.

Financial Summary
-
Grant Fund Outlined Usage:
-
Media Buying = $5000 | We spent 100% of the allocated budget into our paid advertising efforts. As aforementioned, we saw positive traction in the form of higher than expected conversion rates so we doubled the UA spending budget here.
-
Content Creator Engagement = $5000 | We spent 100% of the allocated budget. The creators were excited to represent and showcase our platform on their live streams, IG content and skits, and in-person activations.
-
Original Content = $2500 | We spent 100% of the allocated budget. We hired an in-house producer to help us ideate, create, edit, and post content onto our IG, which drove more than 500k+ views in the last 30 days.

Future Plans & Continued Ecosystem Alignment
-
Next steps for the project post-grant:
-
How do you plan to expand on the original idea? Based on the user feedback that we have received from 1K+ users, we will finetune our main gacha product and frequently test out a wide spectrum of features to enhance our user cohort metrics such as LTV/CAC and more.
-
How do you plan to continue being engaged in Arbitrum? We are actively engaged with and will keep doing so as our ownership and settlement layers live on Arbitrum. In addition, Chance will continue to actively bring in retail users given the ever-growing momentum of TCG industry to parallely growth along with the institutional initiatives which Arbitrum has been executing well.
-
-
Impact of the grant on securing further funding or partnerships: As mentioned above, our beyond-projections social results allowed us to secure a wider range and larger number of content creator partnerships such as CoolTrainerRyan, TwiceBakedJake, Nogla and more. Hence, these partnerships driven by cost-effective GTM strategy will allow them to more efficiently close the next fundraise.

Additional remarks
- Anything that was not previously mentioned and that you want to highlight to the community: Sincerely appreciate Arbitrum DAO and the Grant Program for actively supporting our growth, which has resulted into a more-than-expected successful Open Beta launch. With the cost-effective learnings during our Open Beta, we will keep aggressively scaling up for our currently live official launch and beyond.
