Hey Arbitrum community,

We’re excited to share that Consensys Diligence, referred to by cp0x, is officially applying for a position on the Arbitrum Security Council.

As one of the longest-standing security groups in the Ethereum ecosystem, our mission is simple: make Web3 safer for everyone. We do this by auditing mission‑critical protocols, building open-source tooling, and sharing practical research that helps developers ship securely.

Over the past years, we’ve supported many leading protocols used across Arbitrum and Ethereum, including Lido, 1inch, Aave, Balancer, Rocket Pool, Notional, Connext, 0x, MetaMask, and much more.

We are good at:

  • Deep technical audits: Thorough reviews of L1/L2 core systems and high‑TVL protocols.

  • Advisory and threat modeling: Design reviews, proposal simulation, and safety verification.

  • Incident response readiness: War room participation, SEAL 911 involvement.

  • Open-source tooling: Creators of Diligence Fuzzing, MythX, Scribble, Mythril, Napalm, and the Solidity Visual Auditor for VS Code—widely used to improve smart contract security.

If elected, we commit to:

  • High availability during upgrades and emergencies.

  • Independent verification: We always verify what we sign.

  • Transparent communication: Clear reporting to the DAO, the community, and fellow Council members.

In the previous September 2024 election, we placed 7th in elections — signaling strong community interest in a Diligence seat, and in March 2025, our representative, Vladislav, was placed 12th in elections.

cp0x supports Consensys Diligence for the Arbitrum Security Council

We’re glad to see Consensys Diligence running in the Arbitrum Security Council election.

One of the current challenges in the Council’s composition is the lack of rotation and competition, which over time can lead to reduced motivation and narrower perspectives. Supporting new candidates with strong credentials - like Diligence - is a way to strengthen the Council and highlight the need for regular turnover. Healthy competition drives quality.

Diligence regularly works with high-profile, security-critical projects. Just in the past months, they audited:

  • MetaMask USD Token (stablecoin) - August 2025
  • Linea Token and Airdrop Contracts - July 2025
  • USDi - April 2025
  • Others (in previous years) include Uniswap, Balancer, Lido, Aave, etc.
