Hello Arbitrum Community,
WakeUp Labs is pleased to announce its official application to join the Arbitrum Security Council.
Motivation to sign up
WakeUp Labs is an engineering team recognized in the ecosystem for building mission-critical infrastructure alongside major players such as Arbitrum, Optimism, Coinbase, Starknet, Aztec Rootstock, Velora, among others.
We focus on infrastructure, security, and protocol development for EVM-compatible ecosystems, working across governance tooling, staking systems, bridges, RWA platforms, and node infrastructure.
Our continuous collaboration with Arbitrum, through SDK contributions, governance proposals, and developer tools, positions us as a valuable partner to strengthen its security and resilience.
WakeUp Labs views security as the backbone of Arbitrum’s success. Joining the Security Council is a natural extension of our ongoing work: securing infrastructure, automating governance, and contributing tools that reinforce decentralization.
Our value fit is clear:
- Engineering Expertise: Proven ability to deliver and maintain secure infrastructure across multiple ecosystems.
- Arbitrum Track Record: Direct contributions to the SDK, DAO proposals with over 99% approval, and development of a force-inclusion interface to mitigate sequencer downtime.
- Infra & Security Culture: Operating validator and sequencer nodes, building RaaS templates, and embedding security reviews into every deliverable.
- Trusted Collaborator: Recognized by leading ecosystems for transparency, technical excellence, and reliability.
With this foundation, WakeUp Labs is prepared to bring an infra-driven, security-first perspective to the Council.
Relevant experience:
- Infrastructure & Nodes: Running Aztec sequencers, deploying RaaS infra with SST, validator operations.
- Protocol Development: AAVE forks, staking systems, bridges, auto-compounding vaults, APIs.
- Governance: Proposals and tooling across Arbitrum, Optimism, Velora/ParaSwap, Rootstock, Sandbox DAO.
- Security: Products consistently passing third-party audits; internal frameworks for code reviews and best practices.
- Ecosystem Recognition: Engineering partner in initiatives with Coinbase, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Rootstock.
- Community Engagement: ETHDenver, EthCC, DevConnect, Edge City, among others.
