First, a big thank you to all the delegates who supported Entropy Advisors! With our proposal passing on August 23rd, we are beyond excited to be exclusive to Arbitrum DAO for the next year. The official start date will be marked as September 1st, per the language of the proposal and payment structure. No payments have been received yet.
Our team will begin hosting bi-weekly calls, with the first scheduled for Tuesday, September 10th from 1:15-2:00 pm ET. The link to the call can be found here or the DAO’s open calendar. The purpose of these calls is to provide an open forum for delegates to provide input, feedback, and ideas for our work.
Entropy Advisors has also received a delegation and will begin participating in Arbitrum DAO as a delegate. Feel free to read more about our values and goals for Arbitrum on our Tally profile. Rationale for votes can be found in our delegate communication thread.
Recap of August

- Posted two Snapshot votes to gauge DAO sentiment on Shielded Voting and COI/Self-Voting Policies.
- Posted the Stylus Sprint, a proposal to fund a one-year program to expand Stylus tooling and support for applications that utilize Stylus.
- Posted a first draft outlining the potential Vision, Mission, and Key Objectives for Arbitrum DAO.
- Submitted a request to the ARDC for a comparison of MEV Solutions - Timeboost/MEV-Boost/FastLane
Current Initiatives
- Governors of Oversight and Transparency (GOAT): A proposal for an oversight committee that could be incorporated into an initiative’s operational structure to assist with the oversight of the program and provide reporting and strategic advisory services where needed. This proposal should be viewed as an intermediate step towards OpCo, as it is envisioned that the GOAT oversees the operational intermediary entity. The draft should be expected to be posted to the forum in the coming weeks.
- OpCo: Our team is actively working on a first draft for a proposed OpCo structure/responsibilities based on conversations with key stakeholders. We aim to have a progress report and draft ready to share with the DAO in October at the latest.
- Arbitrum DAO 2025 Event Strategy: A proposal that outlines an event strategy in the first half of 2025, making sure that Arbitrum has a large presence at major crypto events across the globe. This proposal is being worked on in partnership with the ADPC and Disruption Joe.
- Delegate Code of Conduct: A proposal that will incorporate learnings from the Shielded Voting and COI/Self-Voting temperature checks into a Delegate Code of Conduct. Potential enforcement mechanisms and a procedure for breaches will be included.
- An Orbit Chain Focused Proposal: A strategic partnership proposal to improve the user experience on Orbit chains. More information will be available when posted in mid-September.
- Stylus Sprint: Proposal will be moved to Snapshot in September.
- Vision, Mission, and Key Objectives: First draft is in the forums, and a temperature check will soon be posted to gauge DAO sentiment and further refine its language.
Goals for September
In addition to making progress on the above-mentioned initiatives, our other two main goals for September are to hire a new employee, specifically looking for a Data Analyst, and to establish an OpCo working group once the first iteration of the proposal is completed.
Additionally, we plan to become a key facilitator with respect to the conversations around treasury management as well as start working on a proposal to create a DAO whistleblower program to identify misuse in DAO allocated funds.
Lastly, our team has also been active in the incentive program conversations and have been attending the weekly working group meetings. We are ready to contribute to the design of a future program wherever needed.
Requests from the DAO
As always, our team is open to input from DAO members on which problems we should dedicate efforts to. Do not hesitate to reply in the thread or reach out to the Entropy team directly to discuss ideas.
