[Non-Constitutional] Arbitrum Token Swap Pilot Program

I voted AGAINST this proposal at the temp check stage for two reasons. First, I don’t think the size of the program will provide sufficient signal on whether the program works. For many projects, I don’t think a few hundred thousand ARB is enough to achieve “alignment”. Second, I don’t feel comfortable with the criteria outlined here. I think more evidence is required to show that the selected projects have actively created value for Arbitrum will continue to do so.

I voted FOR this proposal on Snapshot. I think most of the items outlined here will make the DAO more efficient and pleasant to contribute to. The code of conduct gives us something to fall back on in cases where contributors are creating a negative impact on the DAO. Just because DAOs are permissionless in the onchain sense, doesn’t mean the social layer has to accept every type of behavior. I voted FOR this proposal at the temp check and onchain stage. I think the first version of the ARDC was valuable in theory, but suffered from a lack of direction from the DAO. I am optimistic that this can be addressed in the next version by working more closely with the Foundation to map ARDC efforts to DAO initiatives.

I voted FOR this proposal at the temp check stage. I think this program has the potential to serve as an effective deterrent to misuse of funds going forward. I appreciate Entropy stepping up to lead this initiative.

Arbitrum Strategic Objective Setting (SOS) – Defining the DAO’s Interim Goals

I voted for this proposal on Snapshot. I appreciate Entropy taking the initiative to wrangle a cohesive strategy and operational approach out of the chaos of DAO governance. As a organization, it’s important that we say “no” to things which might be good ideas but are not top priorities, thus enabling us to focus on the most important initiatives. I’m hoping this SOS framework will give us the tools to focus on the most important items for the DAO to tackle.

Non-Constitutional: Proposal for Piloting Enhancements and Strengthening the Sustainability of ArbitrumHub in the Year Ahead

I voted abstain on this proposal at the temp check stage. I think the plan and budget are fine, and I think the team has done a reasonable job executing on the site to date. My concern is that I don’t like fracturing comms across many properties. I would prefer to have a marketing website for the DAO that is connected to the rest of the Arbitrum Foundation properties. With that said, I’m open to moving forward with this proposal if the DAO supports it.

I voted for this proposal at the temp check stage. I’m in favor of redirecting MEV revenue to the DAO (and hopefully eventually token holders). I agree with including Nova as a fee source.

I voted FOR this proposal at the temp check stage. I think the audit support program has been a benefit to Arbitrum in its form as the ADPC, and I’m comfortable moving it under the AF going forward.

[CONSTITUTIONAL] AIP: ArbOS Version 40 Callisto

I voted FOR this proposal at the temp check stage. I’m excited about Pectra because I think it will significantly improve Arbitrum UX by reducing the need for multiple signatures to perform a single transaction and by allowing Dapps to enable more advanced functionality directly e.g. paymaster support.

[Non-constitutional][RFC] ARB Incentives: User Acquisition for dApps & Protocols

This proposal is thoughtful, well-researched, and efficiently written. With that said, it’s less an incentives program and more a digital advertising consulting program. While I think digital customer acquisition is an important aspect of growth, I’m not sure it makes sense for the DAO to operate a program in this area. I voted against this proposal at the temp check stage, but would be open to collaborating with the team on future proposals. Separately, I have a question that stems from my ro…

I used all of my votes in the nomination of the Security Council Election to support Fred’s candidacy. Fred has an extremely strong technical understanding of Security Council best practices and Arbitrum governance contracts. I think he would be a valuable member of the Security Council.
