Constitutional AIP: Proposal to adopt Timeboost, a new transaction ordering policy

I voted to collect bids in ETH and send to treasury on the temp check proposal. Timeboost is an innovative approach to transaction ordering that creates a more efficient market and internalizes surplus value for the Arbitrum DAO. It’s a clear win for the Arbitrum ecosystem as whole relative to the current first-come-first-served system. I’m comfortable with Offchain Lab’s development approach from a security perspective. Arbitrum Offsite format: online vs IRL

I voted in the following order on the temp check proposal. My preference is to do an IRL event next to a major conference and provide limited scholarships for a small number of participants who would not otherwise have funding to attend. I voted Abstain first because I support GovHack’s proposal for Devcon and would like to see this initiative as a collaborative effort with GovHack rather than a competing one. I voted FOR - DIP 1.5. The SeedGov team has done an admirable job of administering the delegate incentive program. I’m comfortable with the 1.5 approach which gives reviewers the ability to make a more qualitative assessment of delegate contribution based on public forum comments. The reality is that simply commenting on a forum post does not necessarily create value for the DAO. I voted For - Use ENS text records on this proposal at the temp check stage. This seems like a valuable way to improve access to Arbitrum DAO data in the ecosystem. I chose the ENS text records option because we should only gate high-risk technical upgrades behind constitutional proposals.

ArbitrumDAO Off-site - Directional proposal

I voted FOR this proposal on Tally. I continue to hold the view I outlined when I voted FOR at the temp check stage. Focusing the online event on defining the DAO’s priorities for the next six months is an interesting idea and one I would like to try. To be honest, it may simply be impossible to define the DAO’s priorities over a meaningful period of time. However, the cost of this experiment is low, so I think it’s worth giving it a shot.

Arbitrum DAO Procurement Committee: Phase II Proposal

I voted FOR this proposal on Tally for the reasons outlined below. I’m comfortable with the team’s approach of focusing on execution only for the events vertical to reduce scope. I still think it’s ambitious to tackle two verticals at once, but am willing to let it play out and observe the results. I’m fine with the re-election of the current ARDC members, as I think continuity will benefit execution.
