OpCo Events Recap

ETHDenever 2026 - Denver

On the occasion of ETHDenver, the OpCo organised ‘ArbiLodge’ on February 19th, a single-day event aimed at delegates, AAEs, DAO contributors, and builders on Arbitrum. The goal of the event, apart from socializing, was to spend some productive time in person in 2 focused sessions - a builders roundtable, and a delegate session.

The agenda that was sent out to attendees ahead of the event can be found here.

As with ‘La ArbiCasa’ in Buenos Aires, we didn’t blast the event on social media, nor did we submit it to the side-events calendar of ETHDenver. Instead, we personally invited people to the event and then used word of mouth to reach more interested parties.

Attendance, however, was extremely low: just 23 people registered, and only 7 showed up on the day. As you probably saw on X already, attendance was low across ETHDenver.

Financials
The total cost of the event, including venue, food, and consumables, came to $2,114.66 USD, fully covered by the OpCo.

Lessons Learned
Since the events we organise are focused on a specific audience and not generally a brand awareness thing, it’s important to do a lot of groundwork ahead of the event to gauge attendance as much as possible.

While we did that to an extent, and thankfully decreased the amount of catering we originally ordered based on that, we could have done a better job. We should also have attributed the low sign-up numbers to generally low attendance across ETHDenver, rather than just to people waiting to sign up last-minute.

Going forward, we’ll put more effort into confirming attendance before the event to properly organize one that reflects the actual number of people who show up.

ArbitrumDAO in ETHDenver

Apart from ArbiLodge, the ArbitrumDAO was present in the following:

Arbitrum Open House

Arbitrum took over a Shake Shack to introduce Open House to builders, founders, and contributors who are curious about building on Arbitrum and getting involved in the broader ecosystem.

ArbitrumDAO Morning Run

@Tekr0x.eth organized a morning run with a grant from the D.A.O program, to which over 300 people registered. Attendance was around 30 people who completed the run and then sat down at a nearby cafe for coffee, pastries, Arbitrum merch, and networking.
