On Oct 1st 2025 we held the first DAO <> OpCo Staff Call, marking the beginning of a regular bi-weekly touchpoint between DAO delegates/contributors and the OpCo team. Below is a quick recap of what was discussed:

On December 9th, we held the sixth OpCo Office Hours call.

Recruiting updates - still in the process of interviewing for legal and finance roles.
We’ve helped onboard seven Arbitrum builders as delegates in the DAO.
We’ve been assisting the AGV with the background checks for the council elections.
We’re working on a baselayer for the SOS to close the loop there.

Firestarters’ focus and next steps have been published in the forum
We presented the public dashboard we have put together for tracking active DAO initiatives. It’s a work in progress, so feedback is more than welcome!
On January 20th, we held the seventh OpCo Office Hours call.

The OpCo has taken over the RAD program
We have engaged all applicants for the compliance process, and some are still ongoing
The results for the retroactive rewards of November and December have been published
Once the funds from DIP have been transferred to OpCo’s multisig from the Arbitrum Foundation, we’ll be ready to distribute the first batch of rewards. ETA is the end of January.
The Firestarter program has been officially launched
On February 3rd, we held the eighth OpCo Office Hours call.

The retroactive rewards for November and December for RAD have been paid and a ‘Kick-off Update’ has been published.
The first monthly report for Firestarters has been published. We briefly reviewed the status of the applications during the call, and Tekr0x and Tempe (2 of the grantees) shared their experiences.
There have been 6 applications so far, with 2 accepted.
A total of $9,600 has been allocated, with $40,400 remaining.

The OpCo will host ‘ArbiLodge’ at ETHDenver on February 19th.

We’ve hired a Head of Finance, and they’re expected to start on May 18th.
We published the third RAD update, which includes two changes that we recommend. If you haven’t already, please do read it and drop your comment.
Firestarters third report was published, and the program has concluded. A retrospective report will be published by the end of this week.
The Code of Conduct handover by Entropy has been completed.
The OpCo was onboarded to the GlobalLeaks platform, which is used by the reviewing committee for the Watchdog program. This is the first step towards the program’s handover to OpCo.
