Applicant / Nominee Qualifications and Experience

  • Identify one of the domains described within the Desired Qualifications […] and describe that experience:
    • Primary expertise in Business Development, Venture Building, and Strategy & Operations
      • I have direct experience running and scaling an offshore crypto foundation
      • I have successfully optimized operations, identified market opportunities, and led cross-functional teams to drive high-impact strategic initiatives, including the launch of RARI Chain—the first Arbitrum Orbit chain.
      • In my Web2 career, I spearheaded business growth and managed cross-functional teams, delivering global brand and marketing initiatives for Visa, Klarna, Instagram, and Budweiser—overseeing large teams and multi-million-dollar campaign budgets.
      • I have built strategic partnerships that drive adoption, including collaborations with the Arbitrum Foundation, Espresso, and LayerZero, as well as consumer brands such as Lady Gaga’s Haus Labs, fostering deeper engagement between creators and users.
      • I’ve demonstrated my ability to guide organizations through key growth phases and to navigate complex challenges while driving innovation.
    • Secondary expertise in Human Resources & Talent Management
      • I have direct experience scaling teams, having built high-performing teams within the RARI ecosystem. Before RARI, I was a hiring manager in agency business teams for nearly a decade, overseeing cross-functional teams of up to 40 people.
      • My experience in DAO governance and decentralized operations has provided unique insights into workforce planning and organizational development in non-traditional corporate structures.
      • I foster inclusive and transparent workplace cultures, ensuring that organizations attract and retain top talent while aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Describe your network and reputation within the blockchain/technology industry. Have you previously represented a crypto brand and/or navigated DAO governance:
    • I have represented the RARI Foundation as a public-facing leader, speaking at conferences, panels, and podcasts while leading strategic ecosystem expansion.
    • I pitched and successfully secured DAO approval for two high-impact proposals: an early funding grant and a constitutional proposal for L2 token path mapping—both ranking among the highest-participation proposals in Arbitrum DAO history. Throughout this process, I engaged closely with key DAO delegates, the Arbitrum Foundation, and the Offchain Labs team, addressing feedback, fostering deeper collaboration, and effectively navigating relationships between these entities.
    • I have worked closely with the Arbitrum Foundation and Offchain Labs on architecting the design, and launch of RARI Chain, the first Arbitrum Orbit chain, that settles to Arbitrum One.
    • I have led governance processes, establishing transparency reporting frameworks at RARI DAO, engaging with key DAO delegates, and implementing the Security Council.
    • I currently serve as a delegate for zkSync, Scroll, and Wormhole DAOs. If any of these create a conflict, I am prepared to step back as needed.
    • I’ve collaborated with founders and leadership teams in crypto and Fortune 500 companies. I have personally facilitated and deepened partnerships with infra, wallets, exchanges, and consumer apps. E.g. partner participation in RARI chain’s DeFi days campaign, Espresso’s upcoming PfP collection drop on RARI chain, soon to be released MultiGov contract by Wormhole and Scopelift.
  • Detail your experience in advisory, governance, and/or oversight roles:
    • I have played an active role in both governance design and execution. At RARI DAO, I established transparency reporting, guided decentralization, and engaged the community in governance decisions.
  • Have you previously contributed to the Arbitrum DAO? Describe any relevant experiences through which you’ve gained an understanding of the DAO’s current structure, contributors, and programs:
    • I authored and campaigned for two proposals, both of which passed:
      • One of the first proposals to obtain funding from the DAO (prior to grant programs were put in place): HERE
      • Constitutional proposal for custom L2 token path mapping in the native bridge: HERE
    • A part of this process, I regularly joined community calls, had 1-1s with key delegates and participated in the full governance process
  • Given the scope of OpCo is relatively broad in its current form, describe how you view OpCo’s role within the DAO and what it should accomplish to deem the entity a success over the next 3-5 years:
    • OpCo is the DAO’s execution arm, responsible for structuring, resourcing, and driving accountability for key initiatives.
    • Beyond execution, OpCo should serve as a catalyst for new ideas by working with the DAO to identify strategic growth opportunities
      • As a result, OpCo will be instrumental in minimizing redundancies, streamlining execution, and optimizing resource allocation through structured procurement and program management. At the same time, OpCo should bring transparency by implementing financial controls, audits, and reporting structures.
    • If OpCo is successful, it will provide the necessary tools and processes to enable the DAO to operate efficiently and demonstrate that decentralized governance can drive real ecosystem growth.
    • That said, the OpCo proposal lays out initial Priorities & KPIs and long-term goals, all of which should be achieved.
    • I am deeply committed to OpCo’s success and to Arbitrum’s long-term growth, driven by my aligned incentives as a builder in this ecosystem. My hands-on experience running a foundation, active participation in governance, and deep understanding of Arbitrum DAO’s structure—combined with strong relationships with key figures at the Arbitrum Foundation and Offchain Labs—position me to help OAT and OpCo operate effectively and inclusively.
