Applicant / Nominee Qualifications and Experience
- Identify one of the domains described within the Desired Qualifications section in the OpCo - Oversight and Transparency Committee (OAT) Application Process Overview forum post in which you have the most experience and describe that experience:
Domain: Business Development, Venture Building, and Strategy & Operations
Over the past few years at Reverie, I’ve primarily focused on sourcing, evaluating, and supporting early-stage crypto companies and founders. I’ve also assisted various DAOs with capital allocation, go-to-market, external partnerships, corporate development, and general strategy. This hands-on experience has given me a holistic grasp on how to identify market opportunities, forge key partnerships, and execute on high-impact initiatives—often across diverse teams and stakeholder groups.
- Describe your network and reputation within the blockchain/technology industry. Have you previously represented a crypto brand and/or navigated DAO governance:
I’ve been with Reverie since 2021, primarily sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities while supporting early-stage founders. I’ve also participated in DAO governance for multiple protocols—serving as a delegate, tokenholder, contributor, and general advisor. This has allowed me to gain a broad perspective on what makes (and sometimes breaks) DAOs, and cultivate strong relationships with founders, operators, investors, and service providers across the industry.
- Detail your experience in advisory, governance, and/or oversight roles:
I share some examples of how I’ve assisted DAOs below:
- dYdX: Leading the dYdX Ecosystem Development Program, which serves as a partnerships and funding arm for dYdX, helping support infrastructure, chain services, protocol development, and growth. Also involved in launching the dYdX Operations subDAO, which runs community and protocol infrastructure such as forums, indexers, and front-ends.
- Osmosis: Created and led the Osmosis Grants Program for more than two years, funding value-add projects and strategic initiatives aimed at growing Osmosis and its ecosystem.
- Orca: Helped design and develop Orca’s governance framework and onchain DAO program, including a first-of-its-kind Governance Council, to transition ownership of the protocol to the community without slowing down decision-making or execution.
Through Reverie, I also serve as a delegate for Arbitrum, Optimism, and Uniswap—actively participating in governance decisions that promote long-term sustainable growth.
- Have you previously contributed to the Arbitrum DAO? Describe any relevant experiences through which you’ve gained an understanding of the DAO’s current structure, contributors, and programs:
I’ve represented Reverie as an Arbitrum DAO delegate for over a year now. In practice, that means I vote on both on-chain and off-chain proposals, share my thoughts on the forums, and participate in governance calls and in-person delegate gatherings whenever possible. This involvement has given me a solid understanding of Arbitrum’s current structure, major contributors, and various initiatives.
- Given the scope of OpCo is relatively broad in its current form, describe how you view OpCo’s role within the DAO and what it should accomplish to deem the entity a success over the next 3-5 years:
From a delegate’s perspective, it can be tough to juggle numerous proposals, discussions, and committees—especially when most delegates have other full-time commitments. This slows everything down and makes it hard to execute effectively.
I see OpCo as the missing coordination layer between the DAO and full-time Arbitrum entities like Offchain Labs, the Arbitrum Foundation, and Entropy.
For OpCo to succeed over the next 3-5 years, it needs to:
- Work with the full-time Arbitrum entities to define priorities and help deliver on them in a way that provides real ROI for the DAO.
- Let delegates spend their time on what matters, by shifting their role to focus on high-level accountability and providing feedback, rather than getting bogged down into all the details.
- Cut through the red tape so contributors and service providers can jump right in and get stuff done without endless forum proposals and discussions.
- Create clear pathways for fresh talent to join without having to navigate complex politics and a ton of red tape.
- Reduce the DAO’s bloat by consolidating or eliminating redundant programs and committees.
- Build a great team who can actually execute on all of the above.
