OpCo Staff <> DAO calls

On July 14th, we held the 17th OpCo Office Hours call.

The items discussed on the call were:

OpCo operational & logistic updates

  • AGV wind down as per passed snapshot proposal is progressing along operational and financial workstreams
  • The current OAT elections conclude this Thursday. Once concluded, we’ll handle the compliance and onboarding of the winning candidates.
  • The proposed amendment to the Code of Conduct is currently in its objection period, which expires on the 21st of July. The amendment will be adopted automatically if objections remain below 5% of DVP.
  • We’re consolidating DAO calls to improve efficiency and attendance.
    • OpCo office hours, Entropy office hours, and open proposal discussions are being merged into a single bi-weekly call, with 30–45 minutes dedicated to proposal discussion and the remainder for team updates and Q&A.
    • The separate monthly OpCo call has been deprecated due to low attendance.
    • GRC calls will remain, but we’re experimenting with updating the format. We’ll move to circulating updates via a short video or text message ahead of each meeting, so the call can focus on high-level updates and an open floor for delegate discussion.
  • We’re developing a cross-organizational CRM to better track contacts across the Arbitrum Foundation, Entropy, OpCo, and Offchain.
