Snapshot proposal: Proposal: Extend AGV Council Term and Align Future Elections with Operational Cadence

Reasoning:
It’s a pragmatic, no-brainer proposal to use calendar year terms. The proposal also incurs no cost.
Snapshot proposal: Arbitrum Research and Development Collective V2 - Extension
Voted: Don’t extend
Reasoning:
I don’t think there’s a need to have a retainer on researchers. Research can instead be done when needed, hiring researchers from a pool of specialists. I do hope further steps will be taken to set such a structure/process within OpCo.
Snapshot proposal: Entropy Advisors: Exclusively Working with the Arbitrum DAO, Year 2 and Year 3
Voted: FOR
Reasoning:
The requested amount does not seem to be excesive considering they are located in the USA (with high cost of living) and that they plan to hire more people. The bonus may be on the higher side considering that ARB price could increase significantly within a year or two, but I like the fact that two-thirds of that amount are being held by Arbitrum Foundation, are subject to negotiations, and may not necessarily be paid in full.

It’s a no-brainer technical improvement proposal, which is why I voted in favour.
Snapshot proposal: [CONSTITUTIONAL] Register $BORING in the Arbitrum generic-custom gateway

Reasoning:
I agree with allowing the $BORING token to be bridgable to Arbitrum. And I also echo L2Beat’s request to have a discussion on how to make the process of adding new tokens simpler.
Snapshot proposal: Updating the Code of Conduct & DAO’s Procedures
Voted: FOR
Reasoning:
It’s a welcomed update which improves certain processes within the DAO, this is why I voted in favour.
Snapshot proposal: [Constitutional] AIP: Disable Legacy Tether Bridge
Voted: FOR
Reasoning:
Considering the fact that the legacy USDT bridge shutdown is a request by Tether itself, and also the fact that it is required to complete a full upgrade of the USDT token on Arbitrum, I supported this proposal on Snapshot.
Snapshot proposal: Consolidate Idle USDC to the ATMC’s Stablecoin Balance
Voted: FOR
Reasoning:
It makes sense for idle funds to be put to work and earn some yield. I’d also wish for the Events Budget process to be updated, but that’s a matter of some other proposal. For this one, I voted in favour.
