Gambling has been a narrative that has taken crypto by storm as crypto railways make for a more efficient and seamless way to play. Gaming in general is something Arbitrum is all too familiar with as it is the home to Treasure. L2s make a great place for gaming (and gambling) and continuing to push for Arbitrum to be its home should be highly encouraged.
WINR protocol today is a place for users to gamble. With the feature of a few gambling games, it looks to continue its developments towards sports betting and other forms of gaming. WINR protocol looks to establish a base layer for other developers to tap into its engine for gambling, sports betting, and gaming. This base layer approach should be seen as more positive than singular stack-based applications. Such an approach, as WINR’s, allows for faster and more user experience focused applications. As a builder building on WINR, the backend engines for payments, bettings, and rewarding are streamlined, allowing for deeper focus on the experience of users. A 1.5% allocation from the total budget that attracts liquidity and user activity has great potential. This could attract liquidity that otherwise had not been exposed to such LP engines as well as encourage users to try a newer dapp on Arbitrum.
We believe such a proposal should be considered for an allocation. The split of incentives dictated seems adequate. A suggestion we may have would be to propose some succession metrics. Allotting ascertain goal for the incentives could demonstrate to the community WINR’s commitment to its users, as well as a vow of self-confidence in the products brought forward. Being that WINR has yet to establish itself as a larger player, we believe metrics in place that serve as goals to be met before the following month’s allocation would serve best.
WINR has a large vision for what it wants to accomplish. For this reason, we believe a grant would serve well in allowing this protocol to demonstrate its capabilities as well as present new LP mechanics for users to explore.
