Hi everyone,

I wanted to share that I will be running as a candidate for the upcoming Arbitrum Security Council election.

I am an independent researcher and currently advise Paradigm on incident response and sit on the Polygon Protocol Council.

My experience has evolved over the years from whistleblowing questionable activity to assisting teams with security incidents and conducting full scale forensic investigations for victims within the community. Thus far I have recovered $250M+ for victims as a direct result of my work.

Investigations are regularly published to my X (Twitter) account where I have amassed an audience of 900K+ followers and I also publish threat intel and news in my Telegram channel to an audience of 80K+ subscribers.

I believe I would be a good fit given my wide array of experience with working different types of incidents such as smart contract exploits, social engineering scams, pig butchering scams, phishing scams, account compromises and other types of cybercrimes.

I understand how to detect illicit activity onchain efficiently and know the best practices to follow to secure accounts (Discord, X, Telegram, etc) to prevent compromises and secure private keys, regularly publishing educational tips for the broader community.

Great job! Nice to see you’re considering this @zachxbt, I’ve got a bit of concern seeing that you have active links as mentioned above.

Do you feel that your active functions with Paradigm or Polygon Protocol Council could result in a conflict of interest in the coming weeks or months if you’re elected?

If no, why do you think so?

If yes, what do you think should be done?

I do not see any conflict of interest as others who have sat on the council have previously held or currently hold advisory roles and work for companies, coming from a wide array of different backgrounds.

I feel my actions over the years sufficiently prove I act in good faith with what benefits the industry.
