Arbitrum RWA Performance Dashboard by PYOR

Hey Arbitrum DAO and Delegates,

We are excited to launch our Arbitrum RWA performance Dashboard, The aim was to build an analytical dashboard for Real World Assets (RWA) in the Arbitrum ecosystem, catering to three key user segments:

  1. Arbitrum community members
  2. RWA builders
  3. RWA investors

The dashboard is tailored to meet the specific needs of each group, focusing on metrics like liquidity, growth, fees, and deployment costs. It shall act as a centralised hub for data-driven decision-making, supporting the growth of RWAs on Arbitrum.

Real World Assets in the Arbitrum ecosystem represent an exciting intersection of traditional finance and blockchain technology. Arbitrum, as a Layer 2 solution, enhances Ethereum’s capability to efficiently handle transactions, making it an ideal platform for tokenizing and managing RWAs.

This involves taking tangible or intangible assets from the conventional economy—such as real estate, bonds, commodities, and intellectual property further representing them as digital tokens on the blockchain.

To make this come to life, we shortlisted 13 protocols with their RWAs out in the market under 6 notable categories -

  • Stablecoins
  • Stocks
  • Treasury Bonds
  • Treasury Bills
  • Bonds
  • U.S. Government Securities

Coming to our key user segments,

  1. Arbitrum community members - For the community, we focused on their contribution to DEX Liquidity and Volume, RWA and Governance tokens held by them thereby giving an insight into the RWA Dominance in the Arbitrum Ecosystem.
The Overall metrics for all 13 protocols combined can be checked while navigating through the ‘Overall’ Section.

Overall > RWAs/ Governance > Overview

The RWA sub-dashboard focuses on the TVL, Users & Holders (Active, Daily and Monthly) and DEX Liquidity (Liquidity and Volume Dominance) associated with only the RWA tokens for the chosen protocols whereas the Governance sub-dashboard shows Holders & Users (Active, Daily and Monthly) and DEX activity (Liquidity and Volume Dominance) related to the governance tokens.

The metrics can also be checked for the individual protocols by navigating to the ‘Protocols’ Section.
Eg: For Mountain Protocol’s USDM (Stablecoin)
Protocols > Stablecoins > Mountain Protocol

  1. RWA Builders - For the Ecosystem’s RWA builders, a sub-dashboard ‘Builder Expenses’ has been created with the prime focus of giving an overview of the expenses related to the Contract Deployments (for RWA) and Oracle Deployments/ Updates.

For checking out this sub-dashboard, the navigation path is :
Overall > Builder Expenses > Protocol

The user can select the targeted protocol (for which the expenses need to be checked) at the top left corner. This will showcase the protocol’s launch-to-scale lifecycle of the above-mentioned expenses.

Additionally, we’ve compared other RWA protocols to provide the protocol with a comprehensive view of the expenses of their competitors.

  1. RWA Investor - For the investors, a hot sub-dashboard - ‘Yield Simulator’ has been curated to give proper insights on the growth of the asset.

The investor can check his yield over a said period by just entering the amount he invested (USD).

The growth trends can also be checked for either an entire RWA category (mentioned above) or selected RWAs within different categories.

For such comparisons, the best-performing asset will be highlighted along with the Yield Accrued and Annualized APY.

Eg: A comparison between the Stablecoins - USDM and FRAX shows that the 1000 USD invested for a period of 1 month (from August 1, 2024, to September 1, 2024) will accrue a yield of 4.11 and -156.17 respectively with the valuation of 1004.11 USD and 843.83 USD respectively (at the end of August 2024) making USDM a better asset to invest in.

We built this dashboard as a part of the RWAIG program: Introducing the Real World Assets Innovation Grant Program (RWAIG)

Thank you @Areta team and @sid_areta, @katharina_thrive for the opportunity.
