@gauntlet, could you please kindly disclose your full conflicts of interest related to your participation in NEAR Governance, including any seats you hold on the Screening Committee?
Additionally, could you clarify whether you have invited any of the following companies/persons to take part in the governance of NEAR:
Hi Dacha, we shared the Near House of Stake application with numerous delegates and governance participants. Many delegates participate in many different ecosystems, and several active delegates from Arbitrum, Uniswap, Optimism, and others asked about Near governance before the House of Stake Call for Delegates. That said, we do not believe this is an appropriate place to discuss Near Governance, as this is the Arbitrum Governance forum.
Candidly, we find the request a bit unclear, but we hope updating our COI briefing above to include the Screening Committee seat has addressed your concern.
If any of our delegators feel that we are not representing their interests in Arbitrum, they have the permissionless ability to re-delegate elsewhere.
COI Disclosure: We’ve deployed on several chains, but the majority of TVL and activities are within arbitrum ecosystem. As an aggregator, we’ve integrated with a couple of leading perp protocols in the space like GMX and gtrade. We might expand to other protocols. We remain active participants in the Arbitrum Dao and ecosystem.
Code of Conduct Agreement: As a participating member of the Delegate Incentive Program, I declare that I have read and understand the Code of Conduct in its entirety, and therefore, adhere to it in its entirety, being aware that non-compliance may result in suspension or removal from the program, with the DAO as the sole appeal instance for such a decision.
