After consideration, the @SEEDgov delegation has decided to “FOR” on this proposal at the Tally vote.
Rationale
As we have already detailed in our rationale for Snapshot, we reiterate our support for the proposal and endorse the views expressed by other delegates on requiring a constitutional vote for these types of adjustments.
gTrade supports the proposal for RARI’s token upgrade and the transition of its governance to the Arbitrum ecosystem. This initiative will onboard another DeFi community to the ecosystem and make governance participation more accessible and affordable (gas wise) for users, aligning well with Arbitrum’s objectives.
The following reflects the views of the Lampros Labs DAO governance team, composed of @Blueweb, @Euphoria, and Hirangi Pandya (@Nyx), based on our combined research, analysis, and ideation.
We are voting FOR this proposal in Tally voting.
We support upgrading the RARI token contract and moving its governance to the Arbitrum ecosystem. This proposal offers a valuable opportunity to align both DAOs, fostering greater collaboration and mutual growth.
Rest our overall thoughts remain the same as expressed in our rationale during the Snapshot voting.
We maintain the support at the Snapshot stage and look forward to the transition of the RARI DAO governance onto Arbitrum with additional treatments like offsetting the cost of bridging and potential incentives for the transition.
I am voting in favor of this proposal because integrating RARI DAO into the Arbitrum ecosystem will enrich our platform and potentially attract more protocols in the future. This move demonstrates Arbitrum’s capability to handle advanced governance structures and customized token contracts efficiently.
By supporting the migration, we showcase the scalability, cost-effectiveness, and user-friendly nature of Arbitrum. This sets a positive precedent for other protocols considering similar transitions, encouraging them to join our network.
