Introducing DAO Watch – A Deep Dive into Arbitrum Governance
Hello Arbitrum Community!
I’m excited to introduce DAO Watch, a dedicated video series that explores the latest governance proposals, discussions, and key developments happening within DAOs. Moving forward, Arbitrum will be a core focus of the show, with regular episodes breaking down proposals, governance trends, and community discussions.
What is DAO Watch?
DAO Watch is a platform designed to bring transparency, insight, and analysis to the governance space. With Arbitrum being one of the most innovative DAOs in the crypto ecosystem, I want to ensure that more people understand the proposals, the decision-making process, and the impact of governance on the ecosystem’s future.
What to Expect?
Regular Coverage of Arbitrum Proposals – Deep dives into key governance proposals with clear breakdowns.
Interviews with Proposal Owners – Speaking directly with those submitting proposals to get clarity on their vision, motivations, and expected impact.
Transparency & Accountability – Helping to highlight both strong and weak proposals, ensuring the community is well-informed before making decisions.
Community Engagement – Encouraging discussions, debates, and feedback from Arbitrum stakeholders.
Becoming an Arbitrum Delegate
I’m also thrilled to share that I will soon be joining as an Arbitrum delegate! This means I’ll be actively participating in governance, reviewing proposals, and contributing to discussions that help shape the future of Arbitrum.
I’d love the support of the Arbitrum community as I take on this role, and I encourage anyone who values transparency and well-researched governance to engage with DAO Watch, share feedback, and participate in discussions.
How You Can Get Involved
Watch & Share DAO Watch Episodes – The more informed the community is, the stronger Arbitrum governance becomes.
Suggest Topics & Proposals – If there’s a proposal or governance issue you think needs more attention, let me know!
Join the Discussions – Whether here in the forums, on YouTube, or across social media, your input helps shape the conversation.
Together, we can make Arbitrum governance more transparent, effective, and community-driven!
This is a great idea, I’ve thought about the need for DAO podcasts and video coverage for a while, not everyone wants to read, others are auditory or visual learners.
Awesome, it’d be a lot easier if I could collaborate with some community members who are already established here, so I’d appreciate a call if you could spare the time mate?
The most recent episode featured myself reviewing some discussion around AI and how arbitrum netowkr would embrace it, currently the show features a few different DAOs (with the idea of having an audience that cross pollinates and grows to a more cognitively diverse group) and arbitrum has been featured many times.
Because I think it’s too small a deal to bother creating a proposal, I’m just going to become a delegate and fund the show that way, while documenting some of my contributions to the DAO and also having guests on frequently to discuss their proposals and possibly summarising intersting highlights from governance calls etc. I’ve got a bunch of ideas.
Show has been going for some years, it doesnt always feature arbitrum, but I’m considering becoming a delegate and featureing arbitrum every time. plus its not a big effort to simply cut the arbitrum section and post it seperately.
Thanks! Just watched Nr. 36. Found it helpful and insightful for those of us who are newer to the space. Appreciate it.
Just an idea (not sure if this is possible) regarding funding, there’s an active proposal: [NON-CONSTITUTIONAL] Arbitrum Onboarding V2: A Governance Bootcamp. Maybe you could get involved—share your “how to” experiences, contribute to the educational onboarding, and potentially secure funding.
Sounds like an interesting idea. It would be useful to see debate-style conversations on controversial proposals, to better understand the arguments on each style.
Great initiative, I think this could especially be a great chance for smaller delegates to get more exposure. The big ones are usually knows, that’s why they have a lot voting power. This could change with DAO watch.
This is a great new play! Great way for smaller delegates to get some exposure and visibility to the DAO. Will be interesting to see what new projects show up on the show.
