Grant Request - Curve Finance (On Chain)

We voted For: Voting in line with our prior reasoning and vote from the Snapshot. This should be a great precedent forward with future grant matching.

Dolomite STIP Addendum (Snapshot)
Umami Finance STIP Addendum (Snapshot)

We voted Approve Funding for all: We are voting for these STIPP Bridge projects to pass the initial challenge to be officially reviewed by the reviewers, and all of the appropriate Addendum’s make sense. There were some that we were not the strongest in support of and for those we have commented on the specific proposals for in the end, are in favor of all 18 of these to advance to the next step.

Front-end interface to force transaction inclusion during sequencer downtime (On Chain)

We voted For: Voting in line with our prior reasoning and vote from the Snapshot. Technically and from a user perspective, this marks a lot of sense.

Pilot Phase: M&A for Arbitrum DAO (On Chain)

We voted For: Voting in line with our prior reasoning and vote from the Snapshot. This pilot phase should be a great testing ground for the DAO to see if this is something we want to move forward with in a larger capacity down the line.

Arbitrum Multi-sig Support Service (MSS) (Snapshot)

We voted FOR: Implement MSS and Reporting, FOR: Implement MSS, Abstain, Against: We think this system of Multistig support combining is beneficial and should be used to reduce operational costs. We urge all of the committees to follow this structure, particularly those that are larger safes and programs. The accounting and reporting piece will also be beneficial to the dao as a whole in the long run.

Streamlining the LTIPP Bounties (Snapshot)

We voted For: We think a lot of the LTIPP bounties and operational votes we’ve had should be consolidated to the committee reviewers. These edits should hopefully streamline the process going forward and release some responsibilities on the delegates.

Kwenta x Perennial: Arbitrum Onboarding Incentives (Snapshot)

We voted For: This requested amount and package seems logical. We think our only concern here is that these projects should be approved through by the LTIPP review team and not through these individual snapshot posts and there should be some level of cutoff that we need to decide on.

ArbitrumDAO Contribution; Safeguarding Software Developers’ Rights (On Chain)

We voted For: Voting in line with our previous snapshot votes and reasoning. Looking forward to seeing this contribution be used in a great way!

Constitutional AIP - Security Council Improvement Proposal (On Chain)

We voted For: Voting in line with our previous snapshot votes and reasoning. This should hopefully improve the security council in the upcoming months.

Catalyze Gaming Ecosystem Growth on Arbitrum (On Chain)

We voted For: Seeing the general support of this proposal, we are in favor and believe Coinflip is the team to execute this correctly. Overall, we urge the team to diligently allocate funds and look forward to the follow up reports.

Set up a Sub-Committee for the Security Services Subsidy Fund (Snapshot)

We voted Abstain: The proposal boils down to who is the best fit person to administer this work and as of now, it seems like the ADPC is a logical answer to do this. We think this would create a lot of overhead and operational burdens for something that is only intended to last two months. The current ADPC is more than qualified to take this on we think and would simplify things significantly.

AIP: Nova Fee Router Proposal (ArbOS 30) (Snapshot)
AIP: Activate Stylus and Enable Next-Gen WebAssembly Smart Contracts (ArbOS 30) (Snapshot)
AIP: Support RIP-7212 for Account Abstraction Wallets (ArbOS 30) (Snapshot)

We voted For x3: These three ArbOS 30 proposals are all super exciting and fascinating to read and learn about. Routing the Nova fees automatically to a governance wallet is logical and surprised that wasn’t the case prior. Activating Stylus is incredibly exciting and we can’t wait to see the new tech and devs that will be onboarded with it. And finally, the support for RIP-7212 is overdue and expected. We don’t have any concerns at this time with any of these votes and are overall very excited to see the changes and developments in store for the near future!

AIP: BoLD - permissionless validation for Arbitrum (Snapshot)

We voted For: This protocol upgrade makes sense and after reading the comments, we are in favor. Thanks to the foundation for reading the feedback and editing and incorporating.

AIP: Funds to bootstrap the first BoLD validator - Bond sentiment. (Snapshot)

We voted For: This makes sense to bootstrap the first BoLD validator and have the responsibility fall on the foundation’s head. We are concerned about the costs as it seems exorbitantly high, and a breakdown would be nice to have.

AIP: Funds to bootstrap the first BoLD validator - Operational cost sentiment. (Snapshot)

We voted For: These operational costs are once again rather high. However, the refunds to L1 gas costs is something we are a huge fan of and overall, a breakdown of all the funds being spent per entity would be great.

[NON-CONSTITUTIONAL] Pilot Phase: Arbitrum Ventures Initiative (Snapshot)

We voted Abstain: This vote was quite conflicted for us. We believe something like this could be very useful, but frankly, it is just not the right time for something like this. With prior support for M&A pilot group being passed and also the significant gaming fund likely to pass, we think the DAO should let these bets sit and come to fruition for a little bit of time before moving with these venture and fund projects.

Election of STEP Program Manager (Snapshot)

We voted 25% across all players (abstaining): Due to conflicts of interest with members of our team, we are abstaining on this vote. Since this is not an option, we have split our vote evenly across all four of the players to best simulate this.

Pilot Stage – Treasury Backed Vaults research and development (Snapshot)

We voted Against: This idea is very interesting, but again, the cost in our eyes is just too much right now. Some questions we have that are brought up before but we want to re-echo which we raised in the discussion are:

  • What is the general goal of this proposal?
  • The budget breakdown is just too steep. Can it be cut down?
  • Why can’t ARDC take on this initiative? The reasons now don’t make the most sense to us.

All in all, we just don’t think this proposal is at the stage of approval and execution yet.

[Non-Constitutional] Betting on Builders: Infinite Launchpad Proposal (Snapshot)

We voted Abstain: Overall we think this program is interesting and has its merits, however, there should be no reason that the costs are this high when running such a program. The $10m ask is quite massive and we think that it is not appropriate right now.

Kwenta x Perennial: Arbitrum Onboarding Incentives (On Chain)

We voted For: Seeing as the terms are favorable as the snapshot, we are voting yes on the on chain vote as well.

ArbitrumHub Evolution: The Next Step in Streamlining Information Access and Raising Awareness for Arbitrum DAO (Snapshot)

We voted Against: Something like this would be interesting and useful, but it is way too much budget wise for the DAO. It is irresponsible to justify this spending.

Multisig Support Service (MSS) Elections (Snapshot)

We voted JoJo, Griff Green, Hillstone, Avantgarde, Cattin, Feems, Sinkas, Arana Digital, StableLab, Frisson, 0xMims, 404DAO (listed by order of nomination): Abstaining from voting for ourselves, we thought these applicants were the strongest and most fit for the 12 MSS spots.

  • @JoJo: We know firsthand their great work on the UAGP and various other Arbitrum ecosystem projects they have stewarded.
  • @Griff: Trustworthy delegate and community member in DAOs we share
  • Steakhouse Financial: Members of our team work at the team behind Hillstone (Steakhouse) and can speak highly of them
  • Avantgarde Finance: We are confident in their output and team
  • @Cattin: Has been very involved as a delegate and SeedLATAM has done a fabulous job at administering the delegate program and been super dependable
  • @Feems: Very responsive and helpful during our numerous interactions across different DAOs
  • @Sinkas: Has done an amazing job in co-leading the L2BEAT delegate platform and bringing the Arbitrum community together
  • @AranaDigital: Have worked closely with Abdullah across various DAOs and highly respect their team
  • StableLab: @Matt_StableLab is a governance OG and they have done a great job with various Arbitrum grant programs
  • @Frisson: Everyone can easily tell Frisson’s huge involvement in Arbitrum and we’ve seen his hard work personally on Uniswap
  • @0xMims: Have worked together in the past and can attest to his dedication, plus Blockworks always produces top tier talent
  • @404DAO: From first interacting together during blockchain club days, they have proven themselves to very dependable delegates.

Approval of STEP committee recommendations (Snapshot)

We voted For: These recommendations make sense and we are glad to see this pushing forward. No big concerns or disagreements here.

[Non-Constitutional] - Subsidy Fund Proposal from the ADPC (On Chain)

We voted For: In line with our prior reasoning, this first cohort of 8 weeks is a great start.

[NON-CONSTITUTIONAL] Pilot Phase: Arbitrum Ventures Initiative (On Chain)

We voted Against: We voted prior to abstain as we didn’t have enough information, and now, with an onchain vote, many of these questions remain unanswered.

Improving Predictability in Arbitrum DAO’s Operations (Snapshot)

We voted Improving Predictability, Abstain, Against, Predictability, Approval Process: We think having a set timeline will benefit the DAO greatly. From our experience at other DAOs, being able to anticipate the timeframe of votes is most important and we are excited to see this hopefully come into fruition. However, we are not in favor of a delegate approval process at this time as we don’t think things are too overwhelming. Introducing this only created a new level of DAO politics and lobbying that we think is unneeded for a project or vote to be snapshot held.

Pilot for a Questbook Jumpstart fund for problem definition and DAO improvement (Snapshot)

We voted Against: At this moment, we do not see the need for this initiative to basically fund proposals to the DAO. We think there are an excellent number of teams already currently working on this and is something that we don’t need to additionally fund more of right now.

Gaming Catalyst Program (GCP) Council Voting (Snapshot)

We voted Immutable Lawyer, CoinflipCanada, Devansh Mehta: These are all people that we have seen do great work for the DAO and we are confident would do well in this role.

Entropy Advisors: Exclusively Working With Arbitrum DAO (Snapshot)

We voted For: Entropy and their team has shown great work so far and it makes sense for them to secure this exclusive partnership for the next period of time with the DAO.

Furucombo’s Misuse of Funds (Snapshot)

We voted FOR - Ban Furucombo from the Arb: There is no explanation and communication and this seems to be the only valid way.

Change Arbitrum Expansion Program to allow deployments of new Orbit chains on any blockchain (Snapshot)

We voted FOR: Any blockchain network: This makes 100% sense and we are excited for the new revenue streams that this will create for the DAO.

[Non-constitutional] Incentives Detox Proposal (Snapshot)

We voted FOR: This is a great initiative and idea. There has been an incredible amount of Arb token emissions that have been sent out recently, incentivizing yields and adoption. This DETOX of three months is necessary to analyze results before moving forward with a solid new plan.

Arbitrum Multi-sig Support Service (MSS) (On Chain)

We voted FOR: Voting in line with our prior Snapshot decisions.

[Constitutional] ArbOS 31 “Bianca” (Stylus, RIP-7212 Support, Nova Fee Router) (On Chain)

We voted FOR: We are in support of these technical changes and are excited to see them implemented!

Entropy Advisors: Exclusively Working With Arbitrum DAO (On Chain)

We voted FOR: Voting in line with our Snapshot votes, we look forward to more Entropy initiatives in the future!

ARB Staking: Unlock ARB Utility and Align Governance (Snapshot)

We voted FOR: We’ve been looking forward to this proposal for a while now and are thankful for the Tally team in finally pushing this forward! Overall, this introduces some much welcome utility to the token and we’re excited to see all of the future implications.

Transparency and Standardized Metrics for Orbit Chains (Snapshot)

We voted FOR: We were a bit torn on this as the costs were relatively high. Overall, we think that the reporting standards set in place will be worthwhile long term, and should be implemented asap.

ArbitrumDAO Governance Analytics Dashboard (Snapshot)

We voted FOR: The Curia team produces very high quality dashboards and we think that this is appropriate in the current state of governance. Costs are pretty reasonable given the size and scope.

Should the DAO Default to using Shielded Voting for Snapshot Votes? (Snapshot)

We voted For elections only: We’re not the biggest fans of shutter and feel it’s caused more confusion and annoyance in DAOs than the benefits it has offered. Overall, this could be useful, but we think only in highly politicized events elections, which we are in favor of testing out.

Proposal to Temporary Extend Delegate Incentive System. (Snapshot)

We voted For: This makes sense to keep going with the program and original budget until we can get a new one up and running

ArbitrumDAO Off-site (Snapshot)

We voted For: While there obviously needs to be a lot more things fleshed out in the future, we think this is a great idea to consider and would love to see this happen.

Should the DAO Create COI & Self Voting Policies? (Snapshot)

We voted FOR: Responsible Voting Policy: This type of voting policy is common across a lot of the DAOs we’re involved in and this is the most precedent policy out there.

Strategic Treasury Management on Arbitrum (Snapshot)

We voted FOR: Overall, something like this is needed in our opinions, however, we would like to see something like this in a RFC type proposal with a possibility for vendor selection. Nonetheless, this would be a top pick hence the support, but should set a better precedent going forward.

An (EIP-4824 powered) daoURI for the Arbitrum DAO (Snapshot)

We voted Against: Although we think that these policies have a lot of skin to them, we are voting no due to improper submissions which we should stand by.

Ethereum Protocol Attackathon Sponsorship (Snapshot)

We voted Against, Abstain, Unicorn, Panda: We don’t believe that we should be sponsoring this and the overall benefit for the DAO will be very meaningless we think.

Funds to bootstrap the first BoLD validator (On Chain)

We voted FOR: Voting in line with our Snapshot votes, excited to see the first BoLD validator.

ARB Staking: Unlock ARB Utility and Align Governance (On Chain)

We voted FOR: Voting in line with our Snapshot votes, huge anticipation for the turning on of this!

[CANCELED] Delegate to Voter Enfranchisement Pool — Event Horizon (On Chain)

We voted FOR: Voting in line with our Snapshot votes, we might have to revote due to the submission mistake regarding timing but voted now as well for the time being.
